On a general purpose CNC mill, that thing is (worst case) 2 steps of 1-2 minutes each. Alu is one of the easier materials to work with, high cutting speeds and low tool wear. An hour goes for around 200-250 dollars. Let's say 10 per hour to keep the math simple, so around 20-25 dollars in the worst case.

It used to be that macs were very common in film but they’re getting more and more niche and more as the brand becomes more of a luxury fashion brand like Louis Vuitton or supreme.

Solid aluminum would never be able to hold it up reliably or provide enough counterweight for the display it's meant to be attached to, even considering the shitty center of gravity it happens to have.
