how do you know the power cord is any different from any other power cord

>TECHTHOTS
YIKES!

BET SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW THE BASICS OF HOW SPEAKERS WORK LMAO

different in what manners?

there are three AC cables in this system.. the Krakatoa is an Ag/Cu combination, the Tsnumai plus is continuous cast or zero crystal Cu and the Tunami is also of the same method of manufacture while it has highly effective sheilding.

In as much as they are effective for their applications I chose them after reading their maker selling materials describing their aims in design. I wanted to try so called high end cabling. The Amp , CD Player and the PS Audio duet did all come with typical one piece plastic jacketed cables I am open to hear why they are adequate and anything adding any further characteristics such as shielding, insulation, stability fillers or highly refined metallurgy are totally without any practical application and thus a waste of money snake oil

also the Hales Speakers are 4 ohm not 3...

im wondering how you could tell if someone swapped out your power cord with a regular high amp cord which cost $5

i tried this with the power unbilical noted above which cost $500 , is about 15 inches long and has merely several strands of very high purity Silver strands.. the CD Player came with a simple computer cable like an old serial printer cable. nothing but "hook-up" wires and a this polymer jacketing..

One day on Audio Asylum I read someone post an email conversation they had with the designer of the CD player ; Jeff Kalt about the umbilical. They asked his opinion of a high end all silver cable .. This cable carries power from the power unit to the player which has the DAC that as I noted also has a 24/96 digital input. Jeff said there was no need for it becasue it just carried low voltage for the player motor, buttons, display illumination but it also delivers the voltage the DAC uses to create the signal it passes to the Amplifier does it not?

This is as literally as possible the music you aim to reproduce, right? The DAC reads the code from the source and creates an electric signal so that comes over the umbilical from the power supply unit ..

I read this conversation and decided I should sell that expensive cable but wanted to compare the original cheap computer type cable... when I put that in and then the silver cable back I perceived a very stark difference . the audio presented with soemthing like substantially more evident cohesion. the sense of continuity within the stream of the music was more open.. it had a more realistic life like quality compared to the stock cable.. I didn't sell the cable though I could have gotten $500 for it

PC --> Schiit Magni+Modi --> SMSL 98E --> KEF R300

I keep thinking I maybe need a better amp, but I have no problems with the SMSL, so I think it might just be the upgrade bug.

Pro studios don't use this shit, studios that cost way more than the most expensive high end consumer setups

Cool rice cooker

pretty design

I have heard military and some medical diagnostic equipment will use high putriy silver wiring when extremyl fine and rapidly varying measurements are required... this is what you have in audio reproduction. Rapidly varying frequencies in very fine, minute detail.. the lower impedance of the high purity silver handles the transit of signals with more efficiency than Copper of no particular quality.

" Silver has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of any metal leading to Contact Resistance (CR) values in the range of 0.1 - 1 mΩ at higher forces. The higher current power transmission connectors typically are designed to have very high normal force (10 – 100 N) that preferably incorporate wipe, have silver thicknesses greater than 2 and up to 20 μm and commonly do not have a nickel underplate. Lower current power connectors typically have a minimum of 200 cN of normal force with wipe, a nickel underplate (minimum 1.25 μm) with a minimum of 2 μm silver, and have low durability requirements. "

At least use a picture that will grab some attention. I can't even tell if that thing on the left is supposed to be a speaker or a purse.

Is there any decent integrated stereo amp with the following:
usb + optical in
bluetooth
headphone out
phono pre-amp

all devices these days are either monstrous AV receivers or barebones audiophile meme seperates. there are some decent class-D amps with these features but they all cost more than those AV receiver behemoths, despite having less power and components.

What's the song?

Not a lot of info on the knockoff amps. The Breeze Audio name doesn't mean much, though. They sell bare cases to a lot of companies. Gotta look out for the seller you buy from.

If you use anything more than this you're autistic and will never get laid
