There's more than just mango. It's not a huge timesink or anything. I just use it to help me memorize some of the words/kanji I don't see very often and are easier to forget.

Passed CCNP (Route exam) using the shit out of Anki, same with the CCDP (which is mostly memorizing trivia).

Make your own decks from self study for shit you know that you won't remember, copying someone else's decks is almost worthless and you can't be sure that they're accurate.

I'm a ophthalmology resident now. But before, in medical school, I wrote my own command-line-based version of Anki. Before medical school I was a electrical engineer.

I planned on going into optometry after my mechanical engineering undergrad. Decided against it because I would have needed to take a few biology and chemistry courses to meet the prerequisites. What a mistake that was. Engineering suck dick.

There is a fix/workauround already, but non-systemd distros (which now, there is a fair number) have trouble months ago because of this.
