It's all ogre.
I repeat - it's ALL ogre.
This is NOT a joke and NOT a drill.

oy vey delete this

Kek, where's that from?

What is it?

Where does it say stable 4.7 on all cores? The article only says 4.7 is the default boost frequency. Doesn't this usually mean one or two cores and only for a limited time?

Unlike Inturd garbage, Zen doesn't artificially "boost" by putting everything only in first couple cores and then heavily downclocking everything else. This might happen, but only on extremely high core-counted unconventional CPUs such as 32 core THREADRIPPER or EPYC. All other clock on all cores.

IT'S NOT OKAY TO BE WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boost frequency is generally easily possible with all core overclock. It just depends on if you're willing to increase the voltage that high and have the cooling required. Since it's 16 cores, it probably won't be a smart idea to do in all cores.

It's just shitposting. I'm expecting at least 4GHz with XFR+PBO on all cores which is absolutely nuts on a mainstream desktop platform.

>can't even hit 5Ghz
AHAHAHAHAHA

>Where does it say
OP is wearing the ryzen hype goggles. He sees only the best possible scenarios.

tl;dr his ass

>It just depends on if you're willing to increase the voltage that high
>16 core Zen 2 does 4.7 on all cores while at 105W TDP and with 1.4v

What the price gonna be? That's the main thing for most people

12 core is already ~400$, so 16 core is obviously ~500$.

12-core is $500 MSRP. 16-core MSRP will probably be ~$700, give or take $100, and in a few months it'll be closer to $5-600.

Well, duh.

>tfw bought a pozzed 8700k last year for $400

Honestly the 8700K wasn't that unreasonable of a choice last year, if you just wanted gay men and singlethreaded supremacy. Still, it's absolutely thrilling to see AMD taking the lead while intel get BTFO this fucking hard. If you'd told me 3 years ago that this would be happening I'd have never believed you.
