...HOWEVER...
it's being actively developed by a new generation of developers.
That's a big plus, that outshadows the cons
& the flaws inherent of a project of this complexity & magnitude.
Building an own compiler & a fully secure language as alternative to Golang isn't an easy task.
However I would not trust Mozilla 100% because one of its major donors was Google (due to anti-trust law suits).
But it's quite an interesting choice. more choice means more freedom.
