CueTools also has its uses.
EAC is the most popular in the ripping community, especially p2p, so you get more guides and info for it.

Thanks, I was using FairStars for who knows how long and wanted to get all my CDs finally into flac.
EAC & dBpoweramp are the only real answers. Both use AccurateRip and secure ripping. dBpoweramp is better as it has proper C2 Pointer implementation, automatic tagging, and easy Album Art finding. Configuration options are more self explanatory compared to EAC as well. Can easily be pirated to if you know the right sites.
