Is odroid n-2 best sbc consumer can get?

is odroid n-2 best sbc consumer can get?
it has hexa core arm power draw 5 watts on full load! and 4gb ddr4 fast memory

if you really need that much power then its great
most dont

Is there a SBC currently that does 4k h265?
Want to build a new media player.

Because that would be a waste of money.

I'd wish they would have made the RAM exchangeable like with proper sodimm slots down under. 4Gb ain't gonna cut it. I need 8-16Gb. Otherwise the N2 is a no brainer performance wise - go for it.

Apparently low end SoC manufacturers don't support more than 4gb as it means less connections between the SoC and PCB.

It's 2019 this should be reconsidered.

could you spell out what sbc stands for?

>hexa core
laughs from inside his octa-core Odroid HC1 or XU4

single board computer

nvidia jetson nano is better boi

Udoo bolt starts shipping in 3 weeks.

Almost any $20+ SBC does 4K h265 nowadays.

Odroid h2 actually
When it's not sold out

holy shit thanks for the info based user

NVidia Shield TV is the best hardware you can get on a small package.
There seems to be a really profitable, unexplored market for really powerful SBCs. I don't know why no company has ever released a consumer SBC with an SoC that's actually powerful (Snapdragon 855, Exynos 9820, Tegra Xavier). Those would be amazing for HTPC/emulation/desktop replacement.

I don't think anything will beat a quadcore ryzen with vega 8 for a long time.

>UDOO BOLT
>quad core/eight thread @3.6ghz
Nice

Wish there was an ARM based SoC this powerful

I've had two odroids shit the bed. Wish they were more durable. My XU4 has never put out an HDMI signal that worked. I've read some people had to use a powered HDMI splitter so maybe I'll try that... I've tried many different monitors, tv's, cables...

I need to know the idle and load temperatures.
