I have a job that has got nothing to do with video editing, one time I needed to edit a short video for entirely non commercial purposes, I tried maybe 10 different editors and they were all shit, half I couldnt get to work because I had to register/activate etc
I am fine with a paid for commercial software but if they are releasing free stripped down version for non commercial use and even specify that on their site then fucking do exactly that and dont fuck around
