Just $749

that's single core boost you inbred indian fuck. You'll be lucky to get 4.5 ghz on all cores

the liquid nitrogen guys loudly claimed 5.3ghz in their part.
Soooo... unless you're also going -100C, good luck with your OC.

How much is an Intel 16 core?

wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-3000-zen-2-cpu-5-ghz-overclock-4-5-ghz-all-core-boost/

It's cheap, compared to intel that CPU's that is, 750$ is a lot of money.

Meanwhile my 9900k clocks @ 5.2 and BTFOs anything AYMMMD throws at it

Oh shit

>How much is an Intel 16 core?
you can find 50$ xeons bro
LMAO

>from 2005

I heard that too but the cinebench score was 5434 while cinebench on overclocked 2950X is 3464 and 2990WX is 6213. I wonder if they misspoke or if it's due to arch improvements.

>from 2005
Intel's 2005=AYMMMD'S 2025

Enjoy your software mitigations

it's fine and dandy, until you realize that your Xeon can't reach the perf of the HEDT chip because it can't overclock.

amd's 2003 = intel's 2005 retarded zoomer

Wait... notice that the 3950x isn't 50th anniversary edition? Sandbagging!!

there is already 2700x anniversary edition

Can you stop being such a nigger faggot, or maybe you're actually a nigger faggot. Those were Engineering Samples you dumb nigger faggot. Also no one cares about 5GHz, if you can get 4.8 to 4.9GHz all core OC who gives a shit?

thats fake right?

No. It's on Hardware Unboxed latest video, NDA ended today after the stream.

5ghz will only be possible on 5% of the chips

Is the IO chiplet still made by GloFo?
How doe they label the combined package when it will have parts diffused in Taiwan and the US?

Taiwan is a US Ally, idiot. The only reason why they use the name "republic of China" is because they don't want to be invaded.

but you can't. 4.6 all core if you're lucky
source: common sense after we've seen the boost clocks

AMD has higher IPC now.

Attached: c5cc19da03a520cf.jpg (640x1280, 199K)

cheaper than the 16 core threadripper at launch.

>shilling this hard
wccftech.com/amd-ryzen-3000-zen-2-cpu-5-ghz-overclock-4-5-ghz-all-core-boost/
The 3000 series beats Intel stock, overclock is the holocaust.

If it boosts to 4.7 then good samples will definitely get at least 4.8GHZ all core which is more than enough for the dumb gaymers now that they have equal/better IPC than Intel.

you don't get it. THOSE are the good samples. They're binning them as hard as they can and even then they still won't have enough cpus that can hit that boost until september. 4.7 ghz single core boost is the golden sample chip. They literally don't have enough of them to start selling at the same time as the other cpus go one sale.
4.7-4.8 single core boost, ~4.5 ghz all core boost. Take it to a bank.

>muh 5GHz
Why does this sound so familiar?

Attached: amd_fd9590fhhkwof_octa_core_fx_9590_4_7ghz_desktop_1095662[1].jpg (2500x2500, 342K)

again, why would anyone need all-core over PBO/XFR for gaming?

AMD lists their peak XFR frequency as the boost. That isn't the all core turbo.
Just look at any other Ryzen listing.

Yeah. What game uses 16 cores with 32 fucking threads?

Attached: mpu_AMD_FX_9590_5_GHz_id1371034423_263351.jpg (896x489, 74K)

16 core
32 threads

Read it again, let it sink in corelet.

It's a totally different process.

Overclocking manually might make sense.

It's all about the voltage curve.

Kek, nice bait.

What? They did it for the e3 demo. And at this point they're not doing ES. Production samples for OEM/partners should be going out right now so they can evaluate it

I was sleeping when was the benchmarks released? who?

CCX is 4 cores. 2CCX per die.

Attached: Routing.png (1007x1006, 719K)

We already knew this. They even showed high level diagrams to explain what they did for Zen 2

way to move goalposts. I wasn't debating whether you need it or not.

Really annoying that everything has to go through an e-celeb press filter now before going public. Why can't they just release that shit directly

Influencers have much broader reach.

>5.2
How's life there in no security-vulnerabilities-land?

Even 9700k only boosts to 4.9, but people will try to oc is to 5 anyway.

There should some press release material, but I think some things shown on the tech day are NDA until 7/7.

Because if you don't explain it with apples and oranges the average consumer won't know what the fuck they're talking about.
