max p is the full chip, desktop equivallent. max q is the dumbed down version.

+ better get the 8750H model, and with 1050ti max p, if you have thunderbolt 3 you shouldn't care too mjch about the gpu anyway, and the 1060 max q isn't worth the extra cost imo.

nah, the 1060 max q is barely above 1050ti max p (afaik 1050ti has no max q version, but anyway). 5-10% better.
