I'm wagering that YouTube will collapse in the next recession.
As it stands, the amount of user discontent towards the platform should have made it collapse under its own weight back in 2018, but due to their monopoly and the good ol' bloogle safety net protects them from lost users.
That is until the next recession rolls around and the bloogle safety net falls apart due to shareholders panicking and pulling out. If that happens, YouTube will finally collapse and people will try to build new platforms based off avoiding their mistakes.
Tech companies never survive recessions if they attempt to centralize and seize control.
