THIS KILLS THE VA & TN MEME
how does yet another 1000:1 low contrast panel kill VA
>not even 4k
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>gaymen
Wow, hasn't technology come far
>only the larger model has gsync
>larger model is 21:9 and curved
this
is it the sucessor for the gk950 series?
why no freesync then?
for just $5999
so the 27" is freesync only and the 38" is gsync only. That was a bit weird. The price also went up from the gk950 (1.199 msrp, but I found them on amazon for less than 1k) by 800 bucks for those extra 4"
1.999,99
no, really.
the gsync version is 727 right now. damn. amazon.com
the fresync (34GK950F-B) is full price.
crap. the gk950 still isn't available in my shithole.
Why isn’t the 1440p 165hz?! That would have been perfect as 1440P doesn’t suffer from chroma sub sampling. This 1ms achievement just might kill TN panels except for price.
Btw excuse the fucked up arrows. Cooking at the same time as being involved in this photo edit
Fucking this
Literally the only reason IPS is as around as much as it is, is because people demand it because they honestly don't know any better
I wish monitor OEMs would pay more attention to VA more as the TV industry has gotten VA to be pretty damn good nowadays with good enough response times for 120hz, great colors and great contrast but instead we get more shitty 1000:1 IPS panels
I'm guessing that the power usage is through the fucking roof?
Also LG fucking sucks
What is Nano IPS anyway? Trying to imitate the marketing of microLED?
So will the 37inch have chroma sub sample at anything past 144hz? Anyone know? I just want a monitor that doesn’t suffer that. All these new ones have chroma sub sample data loss
$100 mark up for Gsync, thanks nvidia.
What's the lifespan on IPS anyway? I still have a BenQ 1080p TN from 2010ish that looks better than any monitor I've seen, has no backlight bleed and works flawlessly.
The acer xb271hu is ips and Gsync. Got it for 500$ off eBay when it first came out manufactur refurbished and it’s barely got any bleed. Over time though the bleed kind of spread because I have to move a lot to visit family. So I guess all the strain of grabbing it and moving it a lot opened up the panel a bit to a little more back light bleed. It isn’t much that triggers me though like my old acer 4K Gsync TN monitor.
1ms.. that's kinda great no?
Dumb OP shouldn't have made such a reee first post
terrible thread
>black crush
>black smearing
>horrible response times
>horizontal viewing angles so bad that most VA monitors have to be curved
Ha hahahahahahahahahaha yeah VA truly is king
IPS picked up because off ultrawides.TN is dogshit for big displays and VA suffers from even worse latency issues than IPS.
>VA suffers from even worse latency issues than IPS
This isn't the case anymore in the sense it would no longer be a deal breaker for most people
The issue comes in that all the good VA panels with decent latency are all in TVs while VA in monitors is still several years behind
This thread sure is citation needed
>having to struggle this hard to match a CRT
>still can't match it
pathetic
>IPS
Don't care about colors grandpa just give the 480hz mled
The 165hz Acer Predator XB1 is literally just a 144hz panel (specifically the AUO M270DAN02.6 panel) OC'd to 165hz
You could easily OC this LG monitor to 165hz too, not that it's even a noticeable difference from 144hz
>g-sync
Into the fucking trash.
>t. brainlet
literally just IPS glow that's barely noticeable IRL, and only perceivable in badly taken photos, unless you're an actual autist who's looking for it constantly
CAN WE PLEASE STOP WITH THE FUCKING CURVED BULLSHIT
