360° is not practical even without a huge thing on your head, but a large, curved ultrawide has its benefits. Just they slack on vertical space.

Either one of the two ultrawides.4k is great but it mainly shines with big displays (like TVs 55 inch and above).

I have a gaymen Acer x34p even though I don't play any. The curve is very subtle when you're sitting right in front of it

Only ultrawide monitor I'd go for are IPS ones. If you go TN/VA, good luck with viewing angles.

I don't know much about monitors , I just figured 4k might be a bonus for creative work but if it doesn't get much value at that screen size then yeah I guess I'll get one of the other two. Gaming isn't a priority so the refresh rate on the Philips shouldn't be a big deal. Its technically not ultawide, its just large, and I've never used either. I'm upgrading from a 27" 1080p AOC shitter.

You will benefit with high PPI with a 43 inch 4K.If you like seeing super sharp text than that would be a good option.Personally i think most poeple would benefit more from a 21:9 monitor as you will gain a lot of horizontal screen estate which is useful for productivity.

If you got the cash to spend, you could get both as LG released the lg-34WK95U-W not too long ago.Its a "5K ultrawide monitor".

I love mine, I got it for it work though, most of Jow Forums is full of children that only play games.

Actually on that note it is good for films, many of them don't have black bars, but playing video games (an activity for children) and watching tv shows/films (activities for dullards) aren't really my thing, i like to create value, not just mindlessly consume, so I find ultrawides are excellent for my needs.

Source: had a single 1440p ultrawide and I fucking hated it for anything but gaming. Sold it for a 27" 4k and bought a 2k/144hz 27" and I couldn't be happier.

Ultrawide monitors are essentially two 5:4 displays with a little extra height (really you can think of an ultrawide monitor as dual 7:6 monitors)

Why are you so autistic? An ultrawide display is roughly equivalent 2x 5:4 displays with no bezel in the middle.

Just get a TV. You don't understand until you actually use it. You don't need to sit back or anything, in fact you shouldn't. Because iron sights actually become usable in games. It's literally mind blowing to have a life sized POV because suddenly a lot of meme flavor of the year FPSs become actually playable because everyone's not a tiny speck on your 24" monitor and the iron sights aren't a tiny little ring that reveal nothing.

Unironically can't wait for 8k TVs to come down in price. 1440p is acceptable to me for games, but 4x 4k 27" monitors for productivity and one big display for gaming is end game display tech. Just wished OLEDs had better lifespan because VA does have some smearing in dark to light transitions, although normally it's pretty decent.Can't wait for microleds.

Looks fine to me. If you're worried about chroma subsampling any TV with HDMI 2.0b should support full chroma at 4k@60hz on at least one or two inputs.

I've never used a TV where text didn't look like ass. I'll happily continue purchasing monitors over TVs so I don't need to experience such bullshit again.
