What type of positions should I apply for and what tips for my resume?

What type of positions should I apply for and what tips for my resume?

I want to leave my current employer due to “duties as assigned” I have 4 new layers of management that are not IT, and have me doing random, nonsensical things.

8th gen intel processors we purchased have problems executing a step in the task sequence to remove superfluous apps from win10 enterprise.

I’ll just capture a new image, not a big deal.

management says no, they creates a ticket with Microsoft and they suggest that we don’t uninstall candy crush or Xbox because those are Microsoft apps.

My phone was recently programmed to be help desk. I’m tier 3 when needed and I frequently resolve advanced problems. This is often enough to warrant having my phone ring when someone wants their password changed. I have a ticket quota to ‘close’ 28 tickets a day. I’ve been allocated 1 hour a day to SCCM, and already there have been issues.

Shit like that, also the pay very poor. 42k/yr

>don't uninstall windows apps
>THEYRE ASKING ME TO DO NONSENSICAL THINGS!!!!
Grow up, autist.

Please do the needful, sir, and kys.

Welcome to corporate IT. Keep your head down, your opinions to yourself, and do what (((they))) ask.

>don’t use app locker
>don’t remove gaming apps

Yeah, we shouldn’t uninstall stupid shit because Microsoft said so.

Let’s continue:
>request to configure/migrate software data from user accounts to storage server
>why did you look at all of these confidential files? It says you accessed them
>literally have OIG up my ass about hipaa violation
>a non retard appears
>how could he have accessed 50k files in one minute? He migrated them like he was asked to do

>VIP ticket
>resolve their issue in under a minute, send email to management stating it’s resolved
>get an email back that I should pretend to work longer and use my technical jargon to appear elite and super technical

>hey, the new network installer can’t lift these boxes to load into her truck, can you put them in there for her?
>myself and the network engineers have to load trucks now because the women field techs can’t lift, box or do anything

>get an email back that I should pretend to work longer and use my technical jargon to appear elite and super technical
this sounds like they were joking

How often do you express your opinions and give feedback to these people making asinine decisions (or to the people above them)?
Some people consider this risky (and it might be) but they'll never improve themselves if they don't know what they're doing wrong. Teams are supposed to cooperate and collaborate. If you're planning on going somewhere else anyway, you may as well give them a sincere remark like you've done here, except nicer but still frustrated.

Is she cute enough to excuse it?

>why did you look at all of these confidential files? It says you accessed them
top jej however you fucked up by not preserving attributes on move/copy during a migration

I had to convert them to a different file format.

I explain myself, but I’m not obstinate. “we already remove their apps and we don’t want our users playing or downloading games”
“Microsoft said we shouldn’t, so we won’t be doing that anymore”

I get paid 42k a year, and I’m answering mundane help desk calls, which is pissing me off because I have real work to do.

Literal ‘managers’ and ‘directors’ with actual, 0, no knowledge of IT, at all. not hyperbole or exaggeration.

just trying to get out and get a raise

no, they are asshole women who gossip and don’t help in the slightest.

Bump

Looking for resume critique and potential jobs I should look for

Currently looking at SCCM administrator positions

>get an email back that I should pretend to work longer and use my technical jargon to appear elite and super technical
Just reply with CC to the CEO saying that would be unethical.

That will backfire, Im trying to not burn any bridges and leave professionally so that I can use them as references.

That sucks my man. I hope things get better.

>Just reply with CC to the CEO saying that would be unethical.
Make sure to attach the support client as well. I could see that making headlines for a day.
If we needed a sysadmin, I'd hire you based on your honesty and willingness to not waste things.

yeah his honesty would be great until you need him to make a small white lie to cover someones ass and he autistically refuses

Well, I’m throwing apps in and looking

Just trying to determine if my resume is spiffy and what positions I qualify for with my credentials

BUmp for resume criticism

You have experience so remove all the shit about your skills, and be more straightforward

Yeah, remove MS-DOS, that sounds desperate. You could probably just mention Windows server instead of all the versions.

I had a local multi billion dollar private company offer my 160k to do react. I already make way more and turned it down, but if you’re really a JavaScript expert, shoot for comfy front end/nodejs roles.

My first question would be: Why are you calling yourself a network specialist, when you only have been doing client support?

That was my job title. but I also have net+ and know how to deploy and troubleshoot routers, firewalls and switches.

Alright

I have a good grasp of it, but I am not an expert. By expert, I mean recall commands off the type of my head and know what they all do. I have a general idea of what the commands do, and can research/build things.

Yeah I make 40k a year, so being a js pro is a possibility

Another bump

I have an over the phone interview for an SCCM position, but it is 6 months contract to hire at 40-50$/hr

Kind of feel nervous accepting this position if I’m moving 3 hours away
