Probably not the best person to comment since I don't watch YouTube frequently, but I'll try to answer. For me NewPipe is more minimalistic and performs the basic tasks I need, which is why I use it. If you require more advanced features, Vanced may have them, but I wouldn't know
I don't know, I don't use it as a home media controller
I don't have YouTube subscriptions, I mainly search things when in need of a tutorial or explanation of a concept
