>Is this some sort of joke OS?
Well, yes, but it wasn't intentional.

>installs a very old and simple DE
>surprised when it looks old and simple
What is wrong with you people? Do you also stick your hands in fire and complain that it's hot?

it's default on openbsd

hmmm I love that comfy fvwm

dick

> install neofetch
You should go back to arch, you'll feel more ar home

The most disgusting thing in this post is ksh

OOOF

OpenBSD BTFO

Are you some sort of flaming homosexual?

>t. (((bash nigger)))

Bait thread. OpenBSD comes with a second WM (cwm) and it's good, yet you decided to make a thread about an ancient WM.

Open a ticket with OpenBSD tech support.

It's already ported.

>keep reading on Jow Forums about how good openbsd is
>muh security, muh truly free license, muh based theo
>finefine
>install it
>innocently run startx
>THIS FUCKING MONSTROSITY SHOWS UP, BLINDING ME AT FULL BRIGHTNESS FOR 10 MINUTES
>I literally can't see
>start screaming
>mommy comes in
>she sees the screen
>mommy is epileptic
>starts convulsing on the ground
>dad walks in
>he's also blinded
>I recover before them and call 911
>end up having to pay 3000USD in hospital bills because of a fucking Jow Forums meme

You just install it from ports like any other program.

Knuth and Theo use fvwm. There is nothing wrong with it.

Knuth's config
www-cs-faculty.stanford.edu/~knuth/programs/.fvwm2rc

Knuth also uses Emacs.

I kek'd

Oh God it's shimmering and I can actually hear my monitor hiss. Must be one of those SCP memetics.
It's installed but how do I make openbsd boot into gnome at login?

You need to Google it

Just replace xenodm with gdm in your boot script. If you want to use xenodm you'll have to do something with your xenodm config file I guess.

It's BSD you absolute brainlet.

Thanks. Sheesh why is this so convoluted

It's pretty easy once you'll get used to it.

> he set up OpenBSD including GUI and networking
> asks whether it's a joke OS as if he just stumbled upon it
Not really, but you are.

I literally just held the enter key and clicked "yes" twice
