Bing is good for certain image searches as others have pointed out. It also earns you points (if you're American) if you use it in conjunction with a Microsoft account. Also it doesn't censor its search results like Google. I don't have the pic, but some user put together a test between the two search engines and it clearly shows that Google censors search suggestions and results. However when it comes to reverse image search, Yandex is king hands down.

Bing actually is a decent source of revenue for Microsoft. They're not going to can it any time soon.

Google's reCAPTCHA comes in different difficulty levels. Whoever is running the reCAPTCHA can decide what the difficulty is, and then Google will also scale the difficulty based on whatever parameters they decide.

If they're determined something they don't like such as user agent string, IP address, amount of activity from a given IP address, or anything else, they can increase the difficulty to the point of frustration.

Or just totally ignore you and let you through unchecked.

They definitely look at how many ReCAPTCHA's you have solved recently: the more you solve, the harder they get.
So if you are sick and just spend the day shitposting on Jow Forums you will eventually get virtually impossible ReCAPTCHA's.

I suppose they assume you must be a spammer if you're solving ReCAPTCHA's all day long.
It's meant for people registering a new account somewhere and solving just one ReCAPTCHA then nothing for months - this is "normal" behavior.
