I've got a Mac and I use Chrome because it's the best, from my experience, on macOS. In fact I just found a link where some people tested browsers on macOS, and Safari (especially the technology preview version) actually came out on top in most things, but I don't use Safari because it doesn't support basic shit like WebM.

Also in those tests Chrome came second in most speed tests, and Firefox was last by a considerable margin.

So that's why I don't use Firefox. On a Mac, it's slow as fuck, and I've noticed it's got weird glitches and shit too - e.g. the arrow button from drop down select boxes looks like it's been taken from Windows 95, and also Firefox has a tendency to render pages in mobile view before then adjusting to the desktop view - it obviously starts rendering before it actually comes across media queries. It's just jarring and ugly and shitty. Also you cannot pinch to zoom on Firefox and I use that all the time. So yeah, Firefox on macOS is fucking terrible.

That's why I use Chrome.

ungoogled-chromium is the best if you compile yourself, turn on developer mode for installing extensions via file and just use a crx downloader to get the ones you want from the chrome store.
It's not convenient, but if you want convenience you'll have to roll your own solution (which is not convenient) or deal with botnetware.

I'm using waterfox and since today it's suddenly laggy as fuck, sites take longer to load and I have like 1-2 second freezes even when typing here and having no other taps open. Tested my Iridium and stock google chrome, no issue there (although I have far less addons there). My addon list for waterfox is: decentraleyes, firebug, greasemonkey, https everywhere, minerBLOCKER and ublock origin

any way to debug waterfox to see what's the issue? already tried without any addons enabled, same shit.
