Why the fuck do people install GNOME if they’re gonna make it something it especially tries not to be? Just install any of the other DEs that all provide the traditional style desktop, don’t install the only one that doesn’t and then complain how shitty it is when you fuck it up with 20 extensions and change everything it tries to do. Try using GNOME the way it’s designed to be used and it all starts making sense. If you’re gonna use it like a Windows desktop and then complain you’re just retarded.

KDE is the same way. Except you dont have to install "GNOME tweak tool" because your DE doesnt try to hold your foot.
Btw Gnome tweaks is really underwhelming. Many of the configs you might want to do are either impossible or require you to change lines in some obscure file. Not easy or organized for the end user like i3wm.
