If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following: 0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine. 1) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything. 2) Do not dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS. 3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

Linus hasent contributed code in a decade. The people that are funded by microsoft are the ones doing the coding. And seeing how the foundation will push linus out when ever he does "bad things", linus has no say in Linux anymore. He can not approve a patchset but then he will be on "administrative leave" again and the microsoft drones will pull the patchset in while he is gone. It's over
Landon Richardson
Linus is actually not even the man anymore. Linux is now Gregs game.
Michael Bailey
bait quality so low not even worth an image, but have a (you), so you get your kick and hopefully fuck off
Ayden Hill
latest lts kernel is 4.19, what version will be the next lts?
how do they decide that?
Joseph Price
i use loksh because it takes one tab press to show completions for an ambiguous filename instead of two like in bash >you can configure it yeah but i shouldn't have to
retard, do you switch distros too because you dislike your ps1
Brandon Edwards
so I installed KDE and removed gnome but the desktop still looks the same. for some reason the theme wo t change, even when I go into settings. what the fuck do I do? I want things to look like a cool kids computer
Josiah Sanchez
linux, of course
Aiden Roberts
Okay, I have ignored >They should not be used to install or upgrade Tumbleweed. Please use the Tumbleweed media instead Warning. YaST keeps trying to install system on USB ZIP disquette. How do I fix it?
>kernel i.e., the only thing that matters and stays consistent across all distros of Linux. Maybe the creator of GNU is a jew, but GNU is just a collection of some obscure software literally no serious person uses today.
Jackson Thompson
I said DONT STOP IT NOW FUCKING asshole
Luke Murphy
I'm out. This thread is nothing but a bad meme at this point. Help yourselves and goodbye.
Daniel Mitchell
Look up "Brain Fox". That should be enough to make you want to uninstall it immediately. Check with your distro first though, some distros don't support fully purifying your shell.
Wewlad. I just did a quick search, looks like he's just some random american dude, prolly cause he's black or something. The Heinrich was just a fitting mascot for what I was suspecting, calm your breasts and untangle your underwear.
Landon Myers
Kek, so you weren't memeing? What's the matter, it's not like every black dude is your enemy, even if you care about "the white race" or whatever.
Cooper Martin
Yeah, he's just an African American fellow. Why someone would want to immediately purge bash from their system to never use it again in their life is beyond me. I mean, seriously, who would ever do that?
I don't play well with irony, if that's what's going on right now. Why are you removing it, I'm legitimately interested since I (albeit as beginner) have found it okay in practice, it does what I want. Is it slow or what?
Anthony Rogers
which poves him right
Leo Jenkins
>Why are you removing it Not him, but personally I removed it right when I found out what found out.
Noah Watson
So because he's black? No one has answered me up front, I want to know if there is a Jow Forums-autism reason to remove bash or if it's Jow Forumsitical?
Ryder Miller
personally, I use csh
Benjamin Butler
kde? xfce? how about you try something a bit more original, and install Window Maker or Motif?
Jack Richardson
You don't get it right? The best is the one I am using. Your shit will always be inferior to mine.
Colton Howard
fun fact: zsh is a shortened form of "Zhong Shao"
Leo Stewart
not true, because I never use stuff I recommend here
Noah Ramirez
>Look up "Brain Fox". That should be enough to make you want to uninstall it immediately. Why? Are you ok?
What does your post have to do with GNU/Linux, or even Jow Forums stuff in general? Oven technology is best discussed at .
Jose Williams
I was expecting it to be some historical pedophile but he's just a fat black dude. Do you not like the darkies user? I mean, I'm a little racist, sure, but it's not like I'm going to go out of my way to avoid a coon.
there's no such thing as "free software", every choice someone made involved tradeoffs whether you realize it or not its just free to you, society paid for that software, and society had to give something else up in return in order for you to get it for free.
Isaiah Young
xdlmao nice meme but seriously tho the latest kde has a few major fuck ups and I had to downgrade the whole thing to six days ago so has this happened to anyone else and also be careful with upgrading to 5.16.0
Cameron Watson
free as in freedom m8 not as in free beer
Nicholas Adams
Could anyone help with this?
Henry Mitchell
>The character first appeared on Chance and Community Chest cards in U.S. editions of Monopoly in 1936. The identity of the designer of the character, artist Dan Fox, was unknown until 2013, when a former Parker Brothers executive, Philip Orbanes, was contacted by one of Fox's grandchildren.
Jayden Brooks
you're never playing any game since Linux has no games.
