Just another reminder of how much easier my life would be right now if I had worked hard 12 years ago instead of 2 years ago . Finishing up an associates degree while working a literal shit-filled job at 30, especially when I know I'm capable of so much more, feels incredibly depressing. But, I have to remind myself that, for one thing; the world does not revolve around me or my problems. And two; that many, many more people live in much worse situations than I do, either through choice or fortune. In fact, I am sometimes disgusted at my luck with how well my life has turned out given all the shit choices I mad. But, I guess that's also an inverse effect of the shit choices I DIDN'T make, which can make all the difference in the world.
So, nothing's bad. It's just being stuck in that waiting room where you can't make any more moves or go forward until you've finished what you've started, no matter how long it takes.
