Whenever we play a video game we always learn something. Your reaction might improve, your way of thinking might change, etc.

Video games as a whole is a skill at the end of the day. By playing video games, you are improving this skill and honing it. The more you practice a thing the more you will improve and typically get better.

I know many people on this board have not played video games in the past, or have a had a huge hiatus from the video game world. They might not have transferable skills from other video games, and thus have to start on the ground floor. However, many people on this board are big gamers, and have played multiple games in the past, and typically they perform better then someone who hasn't played in a long time.

So my question to you is this. Are you an individual who has never played/ taken a long break from video games or are you an individual who is a frequent gamer and played a plethora of different games before fortnite?

How was your learning curve for this game, did you find that by not playing any games that you found fortnite challenging, did the people who have experience find this game easy? What games if any did you previously play that Assisted your learning curve and experience in fortnite?

I've played multiple shooter games in the past, and all of these helped with my aiming and game style. Search and destroy style games made me think more tactfully, which I implemented into fortnite. I understand to a degree what the best route to take to get to zone, how to flank opponents, and positioning. I've also played alot of chess which improved strategy. This improved my deduction on how to read my enemies, how to push, retreat, and somewhat helped in building.

Besides chess there isn't a game I've played or I can think of that would have helped my building, and that's why I think Fortnite is so unique. No other game previously has had building and that's why I think Fortnite will be a huge game for years to come.

i'm a professional lurker.

Anyone ever got rejected so often by so many communities that you now just lurk 24/7 as making the first contact gives you some PTSD shit? It's like a self protective system or something.

Oh god no, the amount of disgusts newfags coming here is killing the culture of the board. Jow Forums should be closed off or something, we don’t need any new people.

Actually I do. In fact, I'm responsible for most of the shitposting here that comes from a russian flag. There's one another namefag who I'm not sure actually is russian, and pretty much one more regular poster who shitposts as well.

Ahh.
Good on you then
