Why is the future technology depicted so wrong?

I mean who the fuck would you use such stupid ui? What if you have 1000 records? Do you need to scroll all of them to find required person?

because movies and tv are made for normies you dumb fuck

Who cares. This thread is pointless. Do something worthwhile with your time instead of appeasing such a worthless fucking thought process. Who gives a literal shit. Go outside.

>Go outside.
To get fried by new 5Ghz radiation from random cell towers? No thanks!

>he doesn't want to get roasted to death by 5G to escape piss earth
where are you from, 1990?

I don't know, maybe because it's a movie you autistic fuck? Did the theater screen, the movie ticket and the popcorn not tip you off? If you didn't know, those people aren't actually from the future, but actors paid to act a role.

Why do hologramms disappear like that? It is fucking stupid. It would be turned off in a fractuon of second like an image from a movie projector

How is that legal?

This is how it looks when your computer is being hacked

the whole movie had retarded things like that, which made me turn it off after 20 minutes. Especially how everything is glitching - can't they fucking figure out to have clean image without glitches and flickering in the distant future where literally everything you use has some sort of display/hologram?

>Not having image downloaded directly into brain using 12G
Also hologram is shit, real future tech is 3D nano-printed avatar

Yeah, floating 3d ads in the middle of the road is safe for driving

this. noone would buy such shitty holograms that flicker every few seconds

Because it's easier and more fun to depict physical things in a movie than a bunch of text.

>fun
For shallow retard like you maybe

Because who fucking wants to look at someone browse through a text-based filesystem when watching a movie?

Nothing in movies is accurate. And that's good. Imagine realistic conversations, people misunderstanding each other or not hearing each other, having to repeat stuff and not forming full sentences all the time. Imagine if you had realistic fight scenes, it would just be people awkwardly grabbing each others' clothes and throwing shitty arm punches. Realistic driving, dealing with traffic. Characters having to stop to go to the bathroom. People missing phonecalls and trying to call people back. It would be an exercise in exhaustion.

all of this is in movies you fucking brainlet, that's exactly what makes them connect with you

Very very rarely is this in movies.

>UI
With how things are going nothing should work. There's not enough banging computers with wrenches in movies.

That's pretty cool

you watch shit movies.

For the same reason we have animations in operating systems. Eye candy.

OK, give me some examples of movies with realistic fight scenes and dialogue.

I guarantee you literally none of the people at the SFX company could tell you what a record is or how holograms work. nu GiTS was a money making enterprise, not a work of art

holographic storage technology is already real in major corporations like GE healthcare. They still have keyboards connected to the display systems and you can still search.

>normies
normalfag out.
unbridled enthusiasm.

People made things to try and look futuristic, to look visually impressive, because bold visuals make more of an impact. Nobody in movies is sitting around thinking a scene needs to be filled with tech thats taking UI efficiency and ergonomics into account.

blue is the only color in the future

Because fiction set in the future isn't actually predicting the future, and one point of movies is to be visually engaging.
Also given that you're a retard taking photos of your screen to post on the internet you're in no position to be complaining about retarded UI decisions.

>What if you have 1000 records? Do you need to scroll all of them to find required person?
Yeah that's pretty much the same as any other list based UI...
