I haven't tested those, but .zip works fine. They have a Files API where any developer can create extensions, and those formats you proposed will and should work. I have iOS13 beta installed and the Files app is really nice an intuitive.

And as for playing MP3 files, yeah you can open it in a player that supports it. Just not Apple Music player.
