Not that I would ever buy them, but I understand the convenience factor. You open the case, you press a button on your screen and you can already listen to music. No drops, no delay, no sync issues in video. They're more convenient than wired and even traditional Bluetooth headphones. They're miles ahead of any other true wireless IEM on the market at everything but sound quality.

if you have bluetooth earbuds that don't automatically connect to a previously paired device as soon as you press the power button then you got scammed retard

1) First pairing. You sometimes have to read the manual to see how you put your headphones in pairing mode. Same with system updates on some phones, which erase Bluetooth profiles. Airbuds: open the case, it works, every time.
2) Try any other "true wireless" IEM on the market. The ones that have better sound quality are almost twice the price (Sennheiser, M&D MW07) and even those have some make design flaw or compromise (sync, drops in crowded areas, charging issues, master-slave pairing though NFMI).

I have the i10s and they sound the same as airpods but the pairing sucks

airpods will fall out. buds will stay in buy you won't be able to hear an outside alarm very well since they are in ear and seal.

Ive had these for a while, i normally take one out when someone physically talks to me. it also automatically pauses the music when taken out of one ear

if they stay in I can just put an alarm on my phone. looks like the buds are the better choice.

I can only speak for the galaxy buds but they're too big for me to comfortably do that. My pillow is firm though so if yours is soft or memory foam with a recess in it they should be ok.
