>3800x cost 60€ more than 9700k
yeah that's gonna be a big yikes for me dawg
Colton Gray
it's just a 12nm refresh of the 2200G/3400G
Easton Brooks
my 1500x just werks, I'm set for years ahead considering my use (gayms). My 8GB rx480 is making a bottleneck on the latest games tho, and there's zero 8GB cards that increase performance enough to justify their prices.
I'm kinda trapped until prices go lower for stuff like the vega56, or I settle for 6GB which is not happening.
Justin Lee
Why would it be any different? Did you think AMD was going to cancel the Raven Ridge refresh when its been coming for over a year?
Why do you believe lying retards like AdoredTV?
Josiah Peterson
Complete failure AMD.
Wyatt Nguyen
I was hoping for something new finally, 3200G 4*4.5GHz with vega 16 or some shit.
Jonathan Ramirez
>438.90€ for a R7 3800X
And there go all aspirations I had to replace my current build.
Hudson Lewis
The APUs are usually a generation behind.
Kevin Lewis
>complete failure
>by releasing something that has been slated for release since 2018
I don't understand your reasoning here.
Why would AMD break their own release schedule and drop an entire product line?
Raven Ridge came out after Summit Ridge.
Then we got Pinnacle Ridge, and Picasso was always slated to follow, its been in drivers for way over a year. Literally everyone knew this, except dumb little kids who watch adoredtv.
AMD isn't throwing entire products out the window just because some eceleb said so. Further more Picasso mobile officially launched way back at CES. You should have fucking known this already.
7nm Renoir is a 2020 part, and it was always planned to be.
Ian Allen
Those are pretty consistently the American prices converted to Euros and with Portugese VAT added. It would've been rather foolish to expect that AMD would just 1:1 the prices. By the way EU members can order from any EU country without import fees, so a lot of times it's worth looking at foreign prices and ordering someplace with lower VAT or generally lower prices.
James Morgan
So? Are you poor?
Evan Sanchez
I don't fucking care about their imaginary renditions of silicon wafers, how do they expect me to pay 164 euros for an overclocked 2 years old product?
Colton Hill
kek
Jace Morris
Its not a 2 year old product, its a refresh. Thats how this works.
1st gen Ryzen desktop = Summit Ridge 14nm
1st gen Ryzen APU = Raven Ridge 14nm
2nd gen Ryzen desktop refresh = Pinnacle Ridge 12nm
2nd gen Ryzen APU refresh = Picasso 12nm - launched earlier this year
3rd gen Ryzen desktop = Matisse 7nm - launching next month
3rd gen Ryzen APU = Renoir 7nm - launching next year
There will be refreshes of Matisse and Renoir coming too.
Next time don't fall for youtube clickbait trash.
Jace Russell
Disappointed. I was expecting a 5Ghz CPU for $300
Brayden Reed
No athlon refresh?
Parker Davis
just wait a month or two, I'm sure intcel will bribe enough journalists to claim there's some sort of performance stutter or security flaw in the new ryzen CPUs so NPCs will rush to buy intcel again and memezen prices will drop.
Elijah Powell
just wait
Brody Hall
Athlons are just super low binned SKUs of those parts, not unique dies.
Owen Reed
APUs are still monolithic dies, its a fresh spin up of new silicon, just on 12nm and with last gen architecture.
You should cope harder considering intel doesnt have a single fucking product at ANY PRICEPOINT that has the same performance as amd apus.
Samuel Murphy
Honestly I wanted to get rid of my Swiss cheese CPU but that price/perf is just dogshit. Don't get me wrong I didn't believe any of the "leaks" but this is just shite. Sure I could even afford an R9 and a motherboard right now but if that is their pricing why should I?
Eli Barnes
What do you mean, I paid 60 euros for a trashed 2200g?
Juan Ross
If you get a sapphire or red dragon Vega you have a good chance of being able to make it effectively a Vega 64 with bios flash for the 300$
Thomas Edwards
>tfw my Sapphire Pooga 56 has Samchink memory.
Jaxson Martin
Yes. Current Athlon APUs are the full Raven Ridge die but with two cores and eight CU binned off.
Ethan Fisher
Fuck you and FUCK amd wasted money. fuck me
Jaxon Long
fpbp
Gavin Kelly
>I don't know how binning works
This is standard industry practice. Protip: Every intel i5 is just an i7 but with Hyperthreading disabled.
Jaxon Russell
lol do you want a supercomputer and a gf for 60 euros? that's not gonna happen idiot.
Mason Ward
So you mean that cheap i5 are more secure than expensive i7?
Brody Ortiz
You can go back to intel dicksucking now. Oh and btw, Intel 10 core CPU? That would be $700
Julian Reyes

it's not a t-shirt made by a pajeet kid, the manufacturing process for CPUs is expensive as is the R&D to design these chips.

Reminder that there are no budget B500 boards at launch

Intel shills are too dumb to understand that 6 core cpus dont need motherboards with overkill VRMS
Jack Evans
Do you expect intelligence from intel macacos?
Jonathan Wood
Fuck I was sure I was going to get the 3900x now not so sure, it’s 548€ which would be like 6000NOK
Kevin Collins
What a subtle way to say AMD CPUs are shit at overclocking
Jacob Thomas
>there are no budget B500 boards at launch

I swear to god this entire board is just a very long practical joke.

Zen+ is still outselling Intel.
Zen 2 has already won.

Yup, that market share ain't going anywhere

So intlet down.
