Holy shit thanks dude, I'll use it with my TV.

Why would someone pay for this? Just use a persistent install of something on a USB

this:

Thanks, user.

does it support virtualization? I'd like to run a cloud service out of my datacenter on it

and by TV you mean something like this... because all TVs nowadays have everything integrated.

>Pay $109 for something that an Rpi can do for a fraction of the price

Take that PC and shove it up your ass. Yeah, you'd like that wouldn't you?

I'm assuming that draw is that it's x86.

And that's not the kind of thing normalfags are going to buy.
They would prefer to use a little stick that they can just plug straight into the TV/monitor.

external power supply, need an hdmi cable, no enclosure, big.
yeah sure, the same product, all the normies are gonna love this!
kys.

A USB stick that comes with an x86 processor, RAM, and storage? Where do you get one of those?

Don't need one, if you're in a position where you need something portable, AND have access to a screen that you can use 9 times out of 10 a bootable USB will work just as well

Actually quite neat. How is cooling done? Is the case partially aluminum?

i have the lenovo version of this.

it runs linux but after 30 minutes the usb port just stops working.

Sounds like Linux alright

You are an USB, you are not allowed to have USB ports!

can you install linux on it?

The smart shit on TVs isn't an actual x86 machine and the application processors onboard TVs are like really garbage even compared to an atom

>intlel
>$110 plus tip
>backdoored CPU

its almost not worth it

I'm slow. Can't you use any stick as an external operating system ?

lol

>linux servers with years of uptime
vs
>a programming sock bearer on a tech illiterate board

No RJ45 no love

>external power supply
the intel compute stick requires external power too, that's what the micro usb port is for

what are you even talking about lol shut up

A live usb is just the files of an OS stuck on a bootable usb media.
See

Ahso. Now I get it. Its own processor and memory. So add micro-projector/touch keyboard and you have a laptop you can carry in your pocket.

Nice argument you fucking child

Would buy it if it was AMD.

Dude, you can't just stick a bootable USB into a monitor.

I already have that, it's called an android phone.

a bootable USB stick is literally just a USB stick. The intel compute stick is a computer. I cannot plug a usb stick into my monitor and do something with it.

>ARM phone
Not the same thing. Atom is x86

That bulky shit is deprecated
The Compute Card is what all the cool kids are using now
