the boards at the lower spec are like 200 bucks and are STILL better than the higher end X470s or at least on par, stop being such a tool and just update the bios on a B450 X470 or whatever board you have as the 8 core chips are still the same TDP as previous chips and thus will run just fine , heck you could run the 12 core on most descend B350 boards (like the pro4) aslong as you dont push for an OC

if you have a x370 board you can update firmware you double nigger, AMD will even send you a free processor if you buy the wrong one and need to patch it somehow.
