Gentoo && Arch

Anything else is just bloatshit.
Nothing else matters.

Ubunturds, take note.

My PC runs ubuntu faster than your PC runs gentoo. Sit down kid.

Void belongs there

no more gaymes, little buddy.
sorry.

>Archtard trying to associate his shitty distro to a successful lightweight OS
No.

Arch is pretty fucking bloated though.

Arch also runs gaymes just fine.

now i actually feel sorry for people who uses unironically these distros

Attached: 1555352886972.jpg (600x524, 43K)

Arch based distros are about to become the de facto standard for linux now that Ubuntu wont support gaming.

>He thinks Arch isn't bloated

Should we tell him Jow Forums?

> hur dur I spent more shekels than you on computer hardware
of course it runs faster you nigger

what are you, poor?

It doesn't take being rich to point out the fact that (generally) more expensive hardware will run faster; You just need to have an IQ of above 70 which you clearly don't have

t. poorfag

My PC runs Windows 10 faster than your PC runs gentoo. Sit down poorfags.

I thought arch doesn't have a 32 bit distro

It doesn't and the issue isn't the distro itself, it's the fact that Ubuntu is dropping 32bit packages completely which means muh gaymes won't run on it.

What is all this talk of Ubuntu though? Valve made SteamOS, their own distro

And nobody uses it

Salty poorfag. If you flipped burgers for a month instead of compiling gentoo, maybe you'd afford a good PC.

based
poorfag gentoo users still have their 2006. trannypads

SteamOS is dead and valve doesn't give a shit about it anymore although we might see it get revived if they can't find a suitable distro.
Ubuntu is/was the officially supported distro by steam and now they're looking for a new one.

I doubt we will see Arch as the new standard since more Linux normies can't get through the install process. Mankato would be more likely.

Spending money on things you don't need makes you poor.

t. seething wagie

That's why I said Arch based.

Doesn't Manjaro even come with steam pre-installed?

these

probably debian

That's why you have gentoo, it's the only OS your crappy PC can run.
Poorfag nigger get a job.

Arch is unironically more bloated than Ubuntu.

Sorry, I misread. I don't use Manjaro though. Too many mistakes by the dev team for me to consider it.

I have Solus and I live comfortably off autismbucks. Go to bed, wagie.

You goys couldn't install GNU/Gentoo did you

I bet you do, cope more on your trannypad.

What bloat are you referring to? Is it all the firmware stuff? How do I make Arch less bloated.

arch is even more bloated than debian or any of the debian based distro since debian seperates dev packages. you putting arch and gentoo side by side proves that you're just a brainlet archfag
what the fuck? gentoo needs a fairly good computer unless you love incredibly long compile times. neither of you ever used it

Poorfag niggers run gentoo on their bricks just to be kewl

Spending time instead of money makes you stupid.

>ubunturd cope
it's over.
get over it.

Like what.

I'm on ubuntu right now, but now am looking for another distro and Manjaro was one of the ones I was considering.

It won't be Arch and I don't think it'll be Manjaro either.

>probably debian
Unless they provide their own version of Debian with drivers, it's not happening. Debian's default iso is completely free software so people will be very confused when their wifi doesn't work. There is a non-free iso available of course but that's hidden away and not officially supported.
And yeah you can enable nonfree repos but asking some normalfag who's never used to linux before to edit config files is the same as asking them to configure and compile a kernel, they'll get confused about all the "hacker stuff" you have to do.

fedora or OpenSUSE are more likely in my opinion.

This comes to mind

it's actually a pretty good distro that's really stable. really good for desktop use. you're unironically beliveing memes which is sad
when the hell did I ever say I use ubuntu? fuck off summerfag

>Like what.

I have also read how Manjaro packages ship 2 weeks later than arch and they don't seem to become any more stable as a result. It is a waste of time. Finally, many Manjaro users whine on the Arch forums when stuff breaks, when they really shouldn't since Arch is seperate from them.

I suggest Arch to you, or Debian unstable. I have also heard good things about Void Linux recently but have not tried it.

Windows 10 is way better.

nice cope
use a real distro, shitter

Attached: 1492063415410.png (627x722, 89K)

ok, never used debian so i didn't know.
seems plausible it's not the first candidate then.

What is nixos
What is guix
How do I use silverblue?
What even is Alpine?

as a gentoofag this is cringe
but this is even more cringe

one of those is not like the other.

Windows 10 runs well enough on my 16GB of RAM with a NVMe to not give a fuck

bloated packages

you can't
