Still usable in 2019 unless you're a gaymer

>le old intel/apple was good right go-guys???

well no shit
depends entirely on what you actually need your computer to do
if all you do is shitpost on Jow Forums a pentium MMX and 128mb of ram could do it perfectly smoothly

hell, i use a pentium D and windows vista with a single gigabyte of ram sometimes for shitposting and some older games

>130W
but my 3w atom also plays anime

eh, electricity is dirt cheap anyway

>windows
Get off my board.

a q6600 still plays games well, especially if you have the mobo's that do DDR3 at 2133

>freetard
dilate

Use the toilet, winjeet.

Every c2q is usable. My dad's boomer PC has a q9400 and i run most 2010-2015 ish games at 720p perfectly

are you considering mitigations?

Use the toilet, Pajeet.

I don't use windows, I am not Indian.

>unless
So not usable.

Of course, with all the security risk mitigation patches it's completely useless.

You'd be surprised how capable even a Q9400 is with a decent GPU in this day and age.

I still see E5300/E5400s in plenty of office machines, the clients opt to upgrade them to 8gb DDR2/3 and Q9400s even today, as Q9400s are now 10 bux.

Runs Win10 1903 just fine.

Unless you do literally anything on your system except shitpost on Jow Forums. No wonder all you pathetic NEET faggots have office machines you found at the scrapyard and used ChinkPads.

The QX6700 doesn’t even have SMT you stupid zoomer

Found the child.

>tfw q9300
>16 GB ddr3 2133mhz
>750 ti 4GB
>plays literally all games fine so long as I don't ramp up too much shit

It's strange most shit runs off that stuff without issue, only big issues are the mobo PCIE bottleneck and the proc lacking hyperthreading on some apps

Did someone say GAMES?!?

Best way to benchmark a cpu is with modern games. I doubt you do photoshop work

>I doubt you do photoshop work
Why would I? I am not an art student. I have a real degree.

Not really any point though when you can get an entire 3rd/4th gen i5 optiplex pc for $100 and have way less heat and power draw for much better performance

Optiplexes are basically only available in the US and a few western countries.
