generally only when I have to shut it down and open it up for some other reason. Then again I have no idea how you got that much dust, OP. After six months of being on all the time with no filters, mine still doesn't accumulate nearly that much dust. I haven't even fucking vacuumed in here, at all.

my server is in a Fractal R5 and my main machine is in a Fractal R6. Both have dust filters and I pull the filters once every 2 weeks. I actually open the PC and dust it properly once every 2 months.
Your PC is disgusting by the way. If you going to have a PC with no filters, you need to know it's going to require frequent dusting.

I just dusted mine day before yesterday, for the first time in like six months, and there was hardly anything in it. The only noticeably dusty part was the fins on my CPU heatsink and 10 seconds with compressed air took care of that. I keep it elevated and it has filters but I think that it was really as clean as it was this time because we've had such a wet winter and spring, no time for the ground to dry out enough to kick a lot of dust into the air.
