I like to bitch about engines, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is building a game as soon as possible. Unity is good for that.

I dunno man. I ran it well on my 3Ghz Pentium4 in 2009. Runs like shit on my gaming PC by comparison. It's the damn particle effects and the shitload of extra processing it does to handle all those items.

I do have doing C++ planned but there's more job availability for C# and it works with Unity.
