Private hosting services are not utilities. You aren't able to shop around for water, gas and electric providers. You can easily post your stupid videos on hundreds of different sites. They're a private business, like a restaurant. They can't discriminate against you based on your identity, but they absolutely can refuse to serve you based on your conduct on their premises. You think you're entitled to exercise your free speech on youtube? McDonald's won't even serve you unless you're wearing shoes and a shirt.

Create a P2P search engine utilizing a cryptographic web of trust where the user chooses how they wish to access information. youtube has far passed every mark of a monopoly, and so as far as constitutionality is concerned, what MATTERS is that you're able to say anything you want on youtube. small private hosting sites can do whatever they want, but because youtube is a dominating monopoly, they don't have that option. they HAVE to host anything anyone wants them to. they aren't allowed to play favorites.

and, if they can't afford to do that, then they can't afford to exist.
