You can use a javascript blocker, but a lot of websites need js to get content for the page so they won't load unless you enable js, in which case it will detect ad blocker again and be useless. None the less, js blockers are good security practice because you have more control over what servers you allow to run js on your computer.

Some sites have anti adblock pop ups that can be removed with the element picker. Just remove it and never come back because
