amd already told us 3733mhz was the sweet spot

It says 2133

what's up with that btw
is the 4.7GHz limit AMD mentioned just on stock, then, or what?

>needs LN2 to compete with Intel on air
lmfao

DDR STANDS FOR DING DONG RAM everyone knows it
Colton Bailey
Which 16-core Intel chip overclocks to 5.3GHz on air?
Luis Garcia
>this faggot is still here and the mods haven't gotten rid of his shitposting ass
no it's dance dance revolution
Alexander Foster
4.7 is just stock but this might be extreme OC under 1.5 v or something.
Camden James
so i can slap a really efficient cooler on it and it might hit over 4.7GHz to start with?
Nolan Green
Sure you can expect to hit somewhat above the advertised boost clock.
Adrian Scott
cool
i have NH D-15 so i hope it'll keep it nice and cool
Grayson Russell
What the fuck are you babbling about? Take your meds.

that value times two, you fucking imbecile

you forgot to post the OC'd i9 9900K results
> an extremely OC'd 16-core AMD CPU is only 25% faster than an extremely OC'd 8-core Intel CPU
> Intel is still 39% faster in single core
Dare I say, AMD BTFO? (pic related)

Asher Kelly
that doesn't count since it's using only 1 core.

it can though
quit trolling

4.7 is stock all-core Turbo. 5.2 is done all-core and either with AIO or LN2. Clearly can go even higher (probably topping out at 5.8 on all-core, or something).
Robert Jackson
7.2GHz wew nice oven schlomo
Carson Morgan
oh so it's a meme when they use LN2 on a 3950x but it's perfectly fine on an 8700k?
get run over, faggot, you don't deserve the air you breathe
Adrian Morgan
This kills the amdrone
Isaiah Reed
>samefagging this much later
1-800-c'mon-now
Evan Campbell
Wtf, what a beast. 5.2 too. If this isnt sandbagging i dunno anymore.
Hat off to amd. Let's all agree this will be beneficial for all of us. Finally some competition.
Now please let nvidia feel some competition soon
Juan James
>intel is literally dying
>competition
Michael Richardson
mhz
I wonder about that, too. Wouldn't the increased latency reduce performance? I'm confused.
Aiden Mitchell
The increase in latency is compensated by higher frequency ram so it's kind of not worth it going over 3733, 3200-3600 is best
Luke Powell
>look our $500 12 core CPU is finally matching 9900k in single core
Am i the only ones who is disappointed with zen2?
I was thinking they would get 3700 to match 9900k but it looks like they are just catching up Intel with more cores.
Tyler Cook
i'll be disappointed when July 7th hits and we get real, non-leak benchmarks
i was a bit bummed when we found out it wouldn't hit 5GHz back at computex though
Owen Martin
Yea it looks like 3600x is new 2700x and 3700x is on par with 9700k.
It is a good jump for AMD because 2700x had same single core performance as 6700k but still disappointing that even on this smaller die it cannot reach 5ghz unless you spend for top end.
Angel Cox
intcels btfo
Elijah Hill
>3700x is on par with 9700k
>3700x $329
>9700k is almost $400
wat
Ian King
Then my bad 3800x is competing with 9700k.
I'm not a shill and will be getting 3700 but I'm feeling disappointed with these 'leaked' numbers.
When it releases who knows if they'll actually do even better or worse.
Levi Ortiz
wouldnt people then go for 4000Mhz kits and underclock them/tighten them for better 3600Mhz with lower timings then to get the max out of zen2 latency?
Gabriel Howard
Probably not, just the usual 3200mhz
Levi Wilson
Any good 3200mhz 8gb which doesn't have RGB?
For zen2 which CL do you need 12, 14 or 16?
Leo Williams
The $5000 one with a chiller.
Wyatt Hernandez
The 9900k is half the price (literally) in my country as the 3950x will be.
$500 vs $1000.
But your example is hardly a good one because only, what, 5% of the 9900k silicon can reach 5.6ghz?
Xavier Myers
>5.6ghz
More like 0%, at least not on air or water.
Joseph Thomas
(((((95W)))))
Justin Hill
Scores this pathetic on liquid nitrogen? Ahahahahahaha
Chase Jackson
1.784v, would be dead in a week
Christian Taylor
4.7 is probably the guaranteed all-core boost. They already mentioned it'll boost as high as it'll go based on cooling performance and how much the VRM allows. You can probably expect something like that on the X570 boards with those beefy VRM setups.
