What about Goobay or Python cables?

Just one good advice - when it comes to displayport and hdmi cables, quality DOES matter, especially if you are buying cables longer than 1,5m.

No. VGA is faster.

imagine being this poor you can’t even afford cheap chroma 7 hdmi cable

5 meters is like still 100 bucks

I wouldn’t go over 2meters with hdmi cable no matter how good quality is.
rather place your source closer to tv

I just recently bought myself some CAT6A cables (Capitalized A) to replace any Cat 5(e)s that are still in my home network, from the same brand that I got a while ago called shiverpeaks, their build quality is excellent.

Amazon basicx

Why?
I never had problems with more then 2meter.
I heard it only gets worse after 10meter

Well four of 2 meter chroma sevens are still a bit much for my income

Orico never failed me
Ugreen - really bad quality, noise in audio, skips in hdmi etc
Robotsky - I've ordered 4 sets of their various adapters from different sellers over a few years, received none

Well, it all depends. I would never go for the absolut cheapest cables, because they may work but they ARE made to be as cheap as possible. I'd much rather opt for some nicer cables that are atleast goldplated.

For certian uses there's also some different aspects to consider. Like the geometry of analog audio cables, like you can buy studio-grade 4x2,5mm^2 star-quad speaker cables for like $7/meter and buy star-quad interconnects with Neutrik connectors for

Their entry-level cables that shares the geometry with their high-end cables makes somewhat sense, but paying that super premium for some nicer conductors is just dumb.

Looks like a 12 years old to me.

this
my best USB charging cables are AmazonBasics
- by far the most solid connectors/teeth
- by far the most solid and durable head / head-length housing
- by far the most thick, chunky and durable actual cables

they put my other ones to shame, including my Anker ones
