i used this exact drive and used it in a usb 3.0 port because usb 2.0 is slow af, because of this choice i had to slipstream usb 3.0 drivers into the windows 7 setup. if i had just used the usb 2.0 ports on my motherboard i wouldn't have had to do this and could have installed usb 3.0 driver after, but im not some inapt monkey and it takes litterly seconds to do and saves a good amount of install time.
