Back when I wasn't employed and just in college I actually started to devalue my own freetime because I had so much of it. Now a days everything is great. I get a solid 8 hours of work 8 hours of play and 8 hours of sleep. I make great money too. Meanwhile a good number of my friends are neets and I still hang out with them and pay their way when we do stuff.

I tried Half Life 2 and it's utter shit. Have never seen a worse tech demo in my life.
And don't give me that "standards used to be lower" card. I played Unreal during the same time frame.
Even the original Prey was less offensively bad than HL2.

I've seen how they live. They're doing okay but they generaly have massive self esteem issues and problems communicating with people outside of those they've come to know and be comfortable with.
