I managed to install Arch successfully. And oh boy do i feel good about it.
We did it reddit
no now you have a brick, what a waste of a ryzen processor. install a real os cuck.
What is a real OS then?
Congrats, now you're a normie. Go install gentoo and be slightly less of one. And then install a real OS like NixOS
Arch Linux installation time build from scratch: 10 minutes
Gentoo manual installation: 35 minutes
Guess which group has higher IQ
Why are you so mean ;_; i could barely use goddamn ubuntu a month ago
It’s good progress but arch is fucking trash. Jmo. It rots and has a bad community. Not even joking one bit when I say install gentoo, make good use of that 2700X. All corechad ryzens compile well.
Use arch for a month and you will see what I mean. They’re not helpful. You ask a question and they link to the poorly written wiki homepage just to make a point. And it’s a systemd hot mess
>a real os uses a lot a resources
>oh boy do i feel good about being able to read
stay mad, poor.
You need to have a high IQ to follow a manual, right.
>mfw I just install ubuntu and change a text file so neofetch calls it Arch and reddit thinks I am leet
Really? Bug-free Debian?:)
FreeBSD
Why do you niggers act like installing Arch is an achievement? It's just a couple of fucking commands; pacstrap does everything for you.
>2m up
>566 packages
>already over 800mb memory usage
It’s arch

Like clockwork
I am a retard and I've installed both including optional "complicated" extras like with lvm + crypt and separate /home
Good job op
You should try a tiling window manager, once you do you wont go back
When arch starts breaking you should install gentoo
TempleOS
I would guess Baloo file indexer takes up a lot of that RAM. Normal Arch KDE is like 400mb after boot.
>he has to be reminded what OS and pc specs he has every time he uses his computer
use a relevant OS

bloat
Nobody wants to spoonfeed retards like you.
Is NixOS really that good or are you the only user on this board shilling this
installing packages vs compiling them
guess which one has the higher IQ and has saved more valuable time
