Java in the streets, C# in the sheets

I've only really worked with java but C# looks better

kek. i just feel like since im about to graduate uni and be looking at getting a entry level job, in order to progress i need to pick a spec and roll with it.
ive already worked a very small amount with C# but not enough to even really mention aside from saying i liked it way more than c++ lol.
planning to get primarily into webdev so i was just curious about which you guys think will be most useful for the longest amount time.
and also i guess which you like the most.

what all have you worked on in java?

fpbp, i chuckled

*java in the shiiiieeets

Java because of Kotlin

neither unfortunately

i like C# because it was the first language i ever learned and made me comfortable enough to start learning c++

I want to fuck Aru

what then?

Why not both!?

I'm a boomer so I use Java because I've racked up so much experience with it that I know popular libraries like RxJava like the back of my hand. But you're a zestful zoomer who should be forging the future instead of entrenching the past, which is why you should choose C# (with .NET Core).

>RxJava
wow you are a boomer

Cpp + Python + Haskell

C# is better but Java has more mature cross-platform utilities / frameworks.

C# is a better language. Java has a better ecosystem (VM, libraries, etc).

because fuck that
also java dominates the job market by a considerable margin

Java is good for petite cute program-fu.
C# is for stronk curvy program-fu.
