Well that was not what I expected. As soon as I saw that the power was immediately turning off I knew there was a dead short somewhere. Maybe not the best idea to give it more power. That fireball out the back of the computer was pretty neat though

Rebuilding a laptop battery is massively retarded. The risk of injury far outweighs the benefit of rebuilding the battery. Putting vids like this on jewtube is gonna lead to some people getting chemical burns or loses some fingers due to exploding batteries.

Replacing the cells works in theory but the control chip may not allow you to use the pack anyway, if a pack has gone too far the chip will permanently disable charging regardless of what state the cells are actually in. Even if it does allow charging the pack will probably fail early anyway because you likely did not properly match the cells to ensure they fully charge. Doing this is pretty much a move of desperation.
