>Not sure what this general is all about? The mission of /ptg/ is to spoon feed you the exact information you need to succeed in the private tracker world then laugh at your dumb ass when you whine about it still being too hard. Everyone who bitches instead of following our sage advice is only here to amuse us.
Remember the following: >Staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before. >This is a thread for educational purposes only. Don't offer or ask for invites. >Staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers.
News: Bonus points on music trackers are for fags Rutracker is the same thing as giving up Rhythm game tracker fags are smelly d*scord users One does not simply walk into U2, foolish zoomers Deezer? More like deez 'ere nuts haha gotem
Imagine being so butthurt that someone got into a tracker via a much easier method than you that you devolve into non sequitors about streaming. I hope you remember this moment of cringe the next time you feel a fit of autism coming on.
Eli Sanders
It's not a non-sequitur because the people avoiding working for recruitment requirements in favor of waiting for user invites to be announced are usually the kind of people who also consume their media in the most "convenient" way possible, which is streaming for video.
I'm treading on the same spot by explaining to you the posts you didn't understand.
Daniel Ortiz
>download BDMVs >you download BDs? Hah! I bet you'll never use them! I bet you stream! >No I don't? I'm using it right now. >g-gottem! You're embarrassing dude. It's time to stop posting. I'll even let you have the last word, go for it.
One is partially exposed and the other is fully covered by panties. Also the partially exposed one was off topic since there was no torrent related comment attached to it.

So I've finally finished my own little server, the only step now is to get into private trackers. The OP said not to ask so do I just check OpenTrackers once a week to join some good ones?
Adam Morgan
interview for RED -> get to power user -> get recruited anywhere you want
>Tfw added another Terrabyte to my computer >Don't feel like downloading anything anymore
Gavin Lee
so I just joined a private tracker that has open registration because they have things I want. I'm new to private trackers and I have some questions. -is it considered a faux pas to download things when you haven't uploaded anything yourself? -should I leave my computer on all the time so I can always seed? -they accept donations and offer incentives for doing so, if i donate a decent amount of money is it cool if i download and seed without having supplied my own original content yet? i really want the stuff this community is sharing but i'm afraid of doing something that is considered disrespectful/gets me banned. also i'm sure this all varies between communities but I'm just asking what the etiquette generally is for these things sorry for noob questions
- they don't give a shit - yes but it only matters if your ratio is in the shitter - don't donate, especially to shitty trackers or ones you've just joined
Michael Wood
read rules, don't be retarded >-should I leave my computer on all the time so I can always seed? if you need ratio >they accept donations don't donate to trackers >is it cool if i download and seed without having supplied my own original content yet? almost certainly
sometimes it can be good to get a lot of original uploads to get into other sites, but the thing is you can upload any old shit you found, for example on music trackers you can upload FLACs of omegarandoms no one has ever heard of from deezer or bandcamp for free
Anthony Gray
thx m8s. i just want to have an account that's in good standing and i figured donating a little could help, but i am sketchy about bitcoin desu. also i still gotta get a seedbox.
Logan Myers
I used to shit on people that was shilling usenet but damn znbs and omg are such nice places to download shit. They get almost all movie releases from all trackers and you don't have to deal with seeding or ratio. I still love my private trackers but from now on main downloads will be done via usenet
Are people seriously having ratio issues on PTP? Seeding is adding a torrent and forgetting about it, in what way is it a burden? It's literally more work to manually delete shit you've downloaded than to stop seeding something. I really don't understand the appeal.
Easton Edwards
only 1tb? did you buy an 8 year old hdd?
Jackson Peterson
*donate to good trackers on dire strates

Absolutely based /ptg/ edition, everyone use this text in the future
Whoever invited me to OMG from the IRC thank you. There's so much shit that I don't even need my MTV account anymore.
Charles Williams
I don't have ratio problems on any tracker. I was more talking about the seeding requirements. I still love private trackers but now I understand the appeal of usenet.
Jonathan Gonzalez
when will these usenet cucks fuck off?
Eli Lee
stupid usefag
Joseph Campbell
I know the feeling. Trackers are cool but usenet is so liberating. Do I sound gay?
Julian Brown
>Trackers are cool but usenet is so liberating This is actually true because I just download stuff and I don't have to manage a seeding torrent at all. I even delete most of what I download from OMG.
I use trackers too, but OMG has like 90% of what you download. If you claim to like seeding, you are lying.
Isaiah Cook

Ask derpta for one and you should also mention how much you love osu to him
Logan Gray
>If you claim to like seeding, you are lying. I just don't care. My home server and a seedbox does it for me
