Any recommendations for cheap (under $100) bluetooth headphones? I don't expect miracles, just something decently comfortable and portable that doesn't sound like total ass.

I have a pretty bad ground loop off of my sound card for some reason, does this mean I need to get a DAC
What's a good amp/DAC combo that I can use between my phone, PC, and Audio-Technica AT-LP60 Turntable? I'll be using it to drive my beyerdynamic DT 880. I currently have my eyes on the Topping NX4 and the JDS Labs Atom. Will these work with the turntable?
I've been using my SMSL AD18 with my lp60. I imagine it has enough power for the DT 880s but you should double check.
I use it with headphones a pair of klipsh speakers and sub woofer and you can even use phone bt if ya want. Good for personal use and with friends over.
JDS Atom will work great, but you should really consider replacing that turntable in the long term. Get something used with a counter weight and anti-skate.

I inherited an older AT turntable from my uncle when he died. I may start using it when I get a chance to look it over.

Could be mold, happens to my stuff when there's not enough sun and fresh air.

Will you guys make fun of me if I get the sennheriser game one? I want a mic, and I was initially going to get the HD599 with some modmic frankenstein bullshit setup but if the audio is more or less the same I'd much rather just get the game one.
I love my RME ADI, but if it's on before the computer, it generates a full scale POP when the USB connects. I'm lucky my speakers, ears and sphincter are still ok.
Any good rec for headphones to work out in? I have these ATH-M50's with leather padding that I love to death but I don't want to mess them up when I sweat while I use them to work out in. I was thinking something like earbuds but not the kind that go directly in your ear, preferably wired as well. Just something that sounds a little bit decent.
Or better yet, is there a way to protect my ATH-M50's from sweat or wetness when I work out in them? Sometimes, I also like to listen to them once I get out of the shower and it kind of worries me a little since my head is still a bit wet, that I'm ruining them in some way.

>working out iems consider anti-water sprays but that could mess up plastic surfaces permanently better yet, dry your hair with a hair dryer and use a cloth to wipe your sweat off

So tell me user, what’s listening with this time of the day?
>iems Something like pic related it? I see these a lot but never actually used 1 myself so I don't know how they stay on. My problem I have with certain earbuds is I have a bad ear condition where I build up earwax very easily especially from in ear earbuds and wax builds up very deep in my canals which makes it harder for me to clean out my ears. Because of all of this, I've had some really bad experiences with certain earbuds that go directly into your ear. Foam ear tips will deteriorate in a matter of weeks for me and rubber ones just pop right out of my ear. This is the main reason I don't know crap about earbuds because its not like I can try them and see if I like it without messing them up. Once I went cans, I never looked back.
$100-200 budget For the gym and regular listening Preferably sound proof or close to it Just don't want it to hurt after wearing them for a while Last headphones were some beats studio wireless 2 (wouldve still been using them even though they're pretty shit but apple wants to charge me $200 just to have them looked at even though all I need fixed is the charging port)
Any recs?

So my friend has a Logitech G933. Yeah I know its shit not what this is about. Today he got a new computer and switched over and now the mic on the headset is muffled and gives him a mega lisp. The logitech settings are the same and I dunno what system settings would affect that. Any help?

I was thinking about getting a pair of momentum 2.0 wireless's. How do you like yours so far?
>Budget Source 3.5 jack, no Amp if possible >Type of headphone over-ear >Open or closed only had closed before, but I don't really care >Comfort level very comfortable? >Sound signature I've tested some headphones, that had the clearest bass I've ever heard. Now I am unhappy with everything I have. But those were in the 1,200$ range, so neutral is fine >Past headphones only gamershit
if STAX is so great, why doesn't linus recommend it? Checkmate STAX shills.
Jose Sullivan
What is your mobo? Some mobos provide enough without an amp to push some better sounding cans.
Nicholas Bennett
I am currently on 'ASUS MAXIMUS VIII Ranger' with 'SurpremeFX 2015' whatever that is Although I am planning on upgrading soon-ish
Ethan Perez
Have Stax
Stax
Jordan Cruz
I had that exact mobo before switching to ryzen. Get some cheap fiio, it's a clear upgrade over any onboard. For headphones, hd58x or k712 are pretty safe bets.
Carter Thompson
so basically if you do not have a dedicated DAC, is it ok to play high bit rate FLAC files? Or would mp3s be more suitable
Dominic Nguyen
Thank you for the recommendations. Is there any particular reason for preferring HD58x over HD599? I just found them for 145$
Matthew Lee
hd599 is part of the lower tier family of head phones in senn's line up whilst 58x is part of the 600,650,660s lines of mid range head phones.
Gabriel Hughes
Thank you for clearing that up. Maybe I can find them today to test them out
Hd6xx are basically hd650 for 220$ and there are still some on massdrop, go get them nigga and buy some hq earpads

I have a sabaj 3 connected to my speakers/headphones. is there an easy way to make this set up have bluetooth capability? I would like to to have the speakers plugged in and be able to play songs from my phone.
