If you're going to be gaming on Linux, which is surprisingly not a meme anymore, definitely go with an AMD card. The driver situation for OOTB drivers is just a million times better for AMD cards. nVidia has a proprietary driver that has been hacked to work with wayland, or a free driver which barely works for anything 3D but at least it lets you have a GUI so you can install the proprietary driver. AMD on the other hand the drivers Just Werk and work well with wayland and kms.

I have an rx 570, and I like it well enough. Much better than my old nVidia card which gave me headaches trying to install various distros with convoluted ways of getting the proprietary driver.

Have new Gigabyte Windforce 8GB 2070RTX since March.
Sometimes I get weird horizontal lines on the pictures on Twitter on Edge Browser.
After I play games and exit them the screen either goes black or I get super pixelated screen (will post screenshot)
The temps went from aprox 37 Celsius to 46-50 C after turning on a game, browser left opened.
