What are you working on, Jow Forums?

Ahahaha, fuck you all neet-tards telling me not to get a job

I just got my first salary with bonuses and it's almost 6 months worth of neetbucks!
Do you even know how much Fate Go crystals I can buy with this?

That's like dumping your income on runescape.

good little wageslave

good, now get back in your cagie

Good for you, you have money, but you have no time to use it.

Looking forward to your brakedown

Is wageslave user going to get into a car accident?

very deep, lisp very puzzling

>5 replies in 5 minutes
NEETs are seething
Someone explain how to convert cs degrees into jobs

have sex

Walk into a computer factory, enter the manager's office, shakes his hand as hard as you can, look him in the eye and say "Tomorrow I'll start working here, and my pronoun is ma'am"

>my gender is volatile const

noice

I've lost all interest in programming, fellas. What do?

Get a new hobby

yourself

learn haskell until you lose interest again

Learn Lisp.

Pick up an interesting book.
I for example just learned there is a thing called "type calculus" and Hungarian naming convention.

have sex

Unironically, what is the point of learning Lisp in 2019 ? I'm just a hobbyist who's learning basic programmation with Python since one year. It's been pretty funny, but everyone here seems to despise this language.

>go to company party
>everyone talking about boring shit
>try to talk about programming
>"lol user work time is over I don't want to think about work stuff now"
Every fucking time.

Attached: 1560448122420.jpg (500x468, 32K)

it's a very simple and expressive language

nerd
you do have hobbies outside of programming, don't you?

only if you use a decent lisp like scheme

you are just really uninteresting, other people are not

this but in /dpt/

>programmation

Alright, user. It is time now to learn JavaScript. Come with me.

unironically based

Wait a minute! That's not the most recent programming challenge infographic! That's two fresh cunnies being sexual! I have been tricked!

No, fuck off

onions

>That's two fresh cunnies being sexual!
Sounds like the most recent Jow Forums programming challenge infographic to me.

This voice is like beta male distilled essence.

fuck you it's great

I'm gay. I've been with tens of men over the years. I know more about male phonology than I could ever have thought of or cared ot learn. That voice is pure 100% beta male. This is not an insult, it's a statement of fact.

I feel for you, fren. Would totally sympathy-fuck you until you fall asleep happily exhausted :3

>scheme
>lisp

What is it about programming that turns people into sissys like you?

>wanting to fuck cute little girls
>sissy

Answer my question fag

scheme is a lisp. don't tell me you're a retard who thinks "lisp" unqualified can only refer to common lisp.

they don't call it brogramming for no reason

>I'm gay
fuck off

why would I answer a wrong question?

>I'm gay
Commit suicide.

>go to coding company
>every coworker is only talking about sports, partying and picking up chicks
>every monday it's "Where did you ho this weekend user? How many chicks did you score?"

Attached: 1546868230891.png (749x694, 901K)

>My private attributes are public

Why the fuck are you talking/paying attention to your coworkers?

>I'm gay
Then your opinion is literally worthless

>Where did you ho
what does that mean

Because I'm high-functioning

Typo

Alan Turing was gay, seething Jow Forumsshits/trannies. Have sex/dilate, and accept gay superiority in the field of CS.

Guido is that you, old brainlet?

>Alan Turing was gay
yeah and now hes dead

are you saying fags are only productive when they're repressed and kept in the closet like turing was?
not that turing wasn't vastly inferior to church

>Turing smarts came from being fucked in the ass

Did Church implement a physical machine that evaluates lambda calculus?
No?
Oh.

gross user but i might join you if i can't get a gf

What is the easiest way to get an anonymous sum type/n-ary Either in Haskell?

dork

user you are seriously overstating turing's importance in order to try to prove a worthless point
if guys being fucked in the ass makes them good at CS, that just makes CS a bad thing. there's no potential in CS that makes guys being fucked in the ass come out looking good, it just makes CS come out looking shit (literally)

me on the right

what's an anonymous sum type?

std::variant

Nice programming related thread you got here, faggots

(forall r . (a -> r, b -> r, ..., z -> r) -> r)

probably some shitty compiler extension that was added to ghc in 2007 and has no roadmap for standardization, just like everything else in haskell

UnboxedSums was added very recently and is definitely never being standardised, user.

this, fuck the haskell20 committee for ruining everything

there's always C++20

>six months as a neet after getting my CS degree
>finally got a good job
>got a girlfriend within the month

Woah

at this point c++20 is becoming a better haskell than haskell is

no rank n types so i'm not interested

tell me your secrets, i've had a good job for 3 months and still no prospects at all

Tinder

>Prospects
But that user lost.

Sum type that doesn't require you to define and name a new type.
How am I supposed to use that?

I'm working on it.

type Either2 a b = (forall r . (a -> r, b -> r) -> r)

from :: Either2 a b -> Either a b
from e2 = e2 (Left, Right)

to :: Either a b -> Either2 a b
to (Left x) (l, r) = l x
to (Right y) (l, r) = r y

what

y-you too

I'm working on adding rank N types to C++.

That's what lets you stay employed and get a career user. You're all unemployed because you didn't network in uni.

In real life when the company decides to lay someone off, and the choice is between user who does his 8 hours a day but never speaks and smells bad, and Larry the cool guy who can't code for shit and leaves at 3PM every day but everyone likes, Larry gets your desk when you go so he can fuck hot chicks on it during lunch break.

Same for promotions. Remember that whatever you do, in 10 years you're either managing people or the guy people keep bothering because they don't know stuff, in both cases you need people skills more than CS ones

I need to learn React for a project in a couple of months. What are some good tutorials that go beyond the one on their site?

>symbol != list
Who woulda thunk.

Attached: 1508716653666.png (645x729, 80K)

Learn assembly in depth and learn about exploitation. It's great fun.

Are there any openGL/Vulkan experts here? How much time did it take you to learn either so you didnt have to run to the docs or tutorials for everything you did? Because i recently got into it and from my calculations it will probably take me around a year to learn anyfuckingthing, this shit is borderline insane

Attached: 4858725352765372.jpg (500x375, 31K)

>How many chicks did you score?"
who the fuck would actually say this except as a joke

give 1 (one) good reason a symbol shouldn't be a list of characters

Honestly if I were you I'd stick to learning English.

sounds useful

I have been using OpenGL for the last decade or so and I literally look up the docs every time I do something new
Unless you're a graphics researcher or something graphics code is usually "write once and forget", you wrap OpenGL calls in saner data structures that make sense for your application and use those instead
