patent jews mostly

Likebook makes affordable 10.3 and 13.3 e-ink tablets with Wacom overlay
There's no excuse op

I personally bought an 8” for books and manga and it's good

how much $?

Because regular tablets are superior in every way.

>how much $?
8" is 200

The big ones run 4-500

>Because regular tablets are superior in every way.
Enjoy being blind at 40 and putting your tablet in charge every 4 hours

E-paper gives literally 10 times the battery life.

>Enjoy being blind at 40
>oh no reading a book for one whole hour on a tablet will destroy your eyes
>routinely spends 6 hours a day on Jow Forums starring at a monitor
>all this to defend a purchase he made

>reading a book for one whole hour
Lol Americans

We read at least 4 hours a day here

Was that supposed to be a comeback?

Ameriburgers will never know the pleasure of spending 4 hours a day reading through all the new laws, licenses and permits we need.

England isn't Europe, burger

Do you have a single fact to back that up?

Bad latency and too expensive E-paper display.
Far superior is the Boogie Board Sync (pic related).
It has zero latency and saves all pages to pdf.

Sadly out of stock right now.

Does tachiyomi work well on that?

>he needs less latency when flipping a page
Do you think you're Superman?
You're a prime victim of marketing bullshittery.

>Does tachiyomi work well on that?
It's literally Android with full PlayStore

I'm using comicscreen

Hell you can even run YouTube, just it's like 5 frames a second lol

colored e-ink is coming

Latency for writing you fucking idiot.
You can legitimately use this instead of pen and paper.
That will never be possible with E-Ink.

>Latency for writing you fucking idiot.
>You can legitimately use this instead of pen and paper.
>That will never be possible with E-Ink.

Modern e-ink have a Wacom overlay, they're as good as actual drawing tablets

Mirasol displays are far superior.
They died because Apple bought the only factory that could make them and used it to produce some unrelated iPhon parts!

No because the display is to slow.
If you draw a line it is never connected to your pen.

>No because the display is to slow.
>If you draw a line it is never connected to your pen.
Jesus Christ you're thick

Towards the middle

> video shows clearly unbearable latency when making fast strokes
you are a retard!

>Still cucked by the EU
>STILL no hard Brexit in sight.
Suuuure it isn't. Keep telling yourself that.

>requires a $15 battery every week

BS can be charged via USB.

That doesn't look unbearable at all, the speed that a human can write means the display should update before your finger is no longer obstructing the text you're writing.

I used a device like that in real life. It is horrible.
It is no replacement for pen and paper.

Refresh rate is too slow for comfort at the moment
Maybe in a few years

>pen and paper.
Ah, moving the goalpost so soon?

Clearly you've never used a digital pen for writing. 50ms latency is already too much, 16ms is where hardware manufacturers should be aiming at.

And I'm looking at a video of a guy writing at a good speed and the screen is able to update before his fingers are no longer obstructing his vision of the text he is writing.

Yes when he squiggles across the whole screen it takes something like 200ms to update, that's fine. Large brushstrokes aren't precise when you draw them anyway.

You don't know much about display technology if you think 16ms is even possible.

The polling rate of ALL touch screens is longer than that. The gap between input and output is going to be over 100ms unless a completely different display interface from all existing ones is invented.

Well the Boogie Board Sync is literally my replacement for pen and paper.
It has zero latency because it uses a different technology. And it was way cheaper.
Why install an expensive wacom sensor into a laggy expensive E-ink display? The whole concept is just stupid.

>I just wish I could delete the whole stroke
> 5 seconds later he shows the undo button

LOL

Far superior to that E-Paper crap:

The same thread with the same image again and again.
Just buy ipad

Fucking hell, that was painful to watch.
That greedy googly eyed bastard took so fucking long to get to the point, most likely to squeeze MOAR AND MOAR delicious monetisation into his shit. He can fucking keep it.

>can't edit previous drawing
>can't even edit at all
So basically it's very expensive and extremely fragile paper.
>wah wah my notebook was so heavy
No a notebook isn't heavy. Who carries around a 500 pages notebook on a trip anyway. Just take 30 pages with you or whatever what are you taking SO MANY notes for on a trip what the hell

Obsessed

>X is impossible, I'm telling you
