Wait for reviews to be out for fuds. Follow the script

Doesn't need to, even zen+ IPC is higher than coffinlake IPC so you get the same performance at lower frequencies.

4.4ghz zen 2 = 5 ghz coffinlake.

don't cope the thread up before watching the video

What this nigger doesn't understand is that his monitoring software doesn't update fast enough.
Don't quote me on that, but I think zen2 switching interval is like 1ms.
The best way to test boost clock is actually to run a single core test and see results.

Ouch. AMD has officially jumped the shark.

you're shill from the threads yesterday, the guy who kept posting this image, bf1 and watch dogs 2 benchmarks from amd unboxed. Problem is, none of those numbers have any basis in reality. I actually took the time to check out different reviewers and none of them could make the 2700x look that great. None.

I already know what the video is going to be. STOCK zen 2 settings are specifically aimed for efficiency so ofc you're not gonna get 4.7GHz on all 16 cores even on a gaming load. It's an advertized MAX clock for a reason, it's going to highly depend on silicone even if you use an AIO. It's still restricted to it's 105W TDP which is like 5 fucking watts per core after uncore stuff, not a lot of room at stock settings.

It's still going to curb stomp coffinlake which is all that matters desu.

ESL?

How's that 10nm doing fellow intard? What's the desktop launch date now, 2021?

Attached: MEA.png (1314x1192, 53K)

14nm+++++ is still superior to poozen's 7nm
and next year 10nm is launching with 7gHz boost and double the IPC, bro

>4.5GHz curbstomping 5.3GHz
I don't think so.

but bulldozer was a beast at overclocking

i said this a month ago, expect 100-200mhz lower than the boost for an all core OC.

which is fucking dissapointing, and that AMD didnt release an 8core that can boost to 4.7 like the 3950x can.

they could if they wanted to, but didnt.

bros what the fuck is going on. this should not be happening

>posting this cope in multiple threads

have sex

This was to be expected. 7nm was bound to reduce max clock speeds. On average they will run at the exact same speed as the 2000 series. What saves them is the 15% IPC improvement

btw if anyone is wondering how a 2700X with 1GHz lower clocks is able to humiliate an 8700K OC'd to 5GHz it's because of the RAM used in pic related which has gone down in price quite significantly. For zen+ infinity fabric and RAM speed/latency were connected which is why the 2700X loses in half the benchmarks posted out there using 2400MHz CL16 kits for some retarded reason.

Node reduction means frequency reduction you mongrel. You're delusional if you think Intel will still do 5Ghz on 10nm

zen2 is literally equal to zen+ for msot usecases

Oh that's gonna be doozy given how low coffinlake's multi-core is. Will be very interesting to watch especially given the benchmarks I'm posting rn.

>The stated clocks are only the theoretical max and the boost doesn't take them above it.
>You're lucky to hit them at all.
>AMD still advertises the PBO as some kind of a boost.

Well AMD that's scammy of you.
I can sort of see why they'd do it. It's not very appealing to market CPUs hitting barely above 4Ghz.
That's the only way they could have given them any OC headroom, but still come the fuck on.
Especially since they few days ago released that video talking about the PBO taking the CPU +200MHz higher.

Still despite this fuckery it's going to be one hell of a CPU lineup and Intel is really only able to compete with their +5Ghz products and that's only in single core.

Attached: 1555662850899.jpg (435x435, 97K)

the same engineers who planned 3.6GHz Pentium D's that crashed and burned (literally)

Even if there is no clock speed improvement it's still a massive jump in performance compared to what shitel has been shitting out. You're getting 15%-20% extra compared to last year's processors. It's literally the biggest performance jump since Sandy Bridge.

Attached: JQhoU9p.png (1117x854, 121K)

>trusting some random dutch asshole

wait for steve, linus and jay

Also the biggest thing is that AMD now has the IPC crown. Clocks will go up as the node is refined but the IPC is what will destroy Intel.

protip: CL14 3200/3400 kits are only going to get cheaper. Samshit isn't the only one that can make them and zen 2 is GUARANTEED to work with 3200MHz kits even on the cheapest of motherboards.

except ryzen+ was half as powerful as coffee lake nig

Why is it a smiley face?

post all your amd unboxed fairy tale benchmarks at once, Steve. Everyone knows those benchmarks are with fast ram on amd side and slow ram on intel side. Intel also scales with faster ram, your point is moot.

Wrong

The fact that you can buy 3000MHz CL15 kits for like $60 is proof that my "magical" RAM is only going to get cheaper as more manufacturers compete for high end 4000MHz CL 16/17 kits for AMDs X570 MBs which will now be possible to use since you can decouple the IF clocks and latency which will guarantee higher stability.

This is all before DDR5 too, which will clock between 4-5 GHz and possibly have lower latency.

NOPE, both used 3200MHz CL14 RAM like shown in Simple fact is once you take away the Infinity Fabric handicap zen+ actually had HIGHER IPC than coffinlake.

Maybe you should stop posting benchmarks showing intel leading and instead show me a non b-die 3200 CL14 kit

Anybody who doesn't care about the latest and greatest should rejoice too as zen+ prices will keep tanking. The 2700X is expected to hit $199 soon.

Any reviews o how Zen 2 runs under x470 or worse mobos?

>Where the fuck are 3600x and 3800x reviews?
what does it matter?
even a 3900x gets obliterated by a 9400f for 1/3rd the price...
it's over bro

Heres a (You) I feel bad for you.

it's okay bro we all fell for the hype, now take some time to C O P E

Anyone got any reviews with 3700-4000+ memory? Why all these fucktards using slow ass shit? Sand bagging intcel gaylord

AMD unlinked infinity fabric speeds from RAM, so the performance gains a much less than 1st or 2nd Gen, but the baseline with non cherry picked RAM is much better now

That sounds like bullshit
Over 3733 or whatever it drops to half speed

>don't cope the thread up before watching the video
have you tried learning english, pajeet?

It was touched on in one of the reviews and the performance was the same on an older board, no difference whatsoever.
Really the only difference is going to be the PCIe 4 and possibly VRM quality and heat. Otherwise it's all the same.

thats official supported 1:1
but if you are lucky you could go to 4000mhz still with 1:1
but so far i havent seen any benchmark with even 3733 let alone something more

you mean the dogshit cpu that gets beaten in games by the 3600 at stock speeds (3600 can be overclocked unlike incel's gimped trash) and gets absolutely obliterated by it in anything other than games since it doesn't even have hyperthreading?
but hey, at least you save like $15

>:)
why do germaniggers do this?
