sir ples delid dis thread and buy intel

The 9900k is clearly on base clock, having watched other reviews, there's no way the 3600x beats the 990k when even the 3900x struggled to keep up with 9900k in games

NOOOOO GOYIM
*crying wojak*

So you tested the 9900k with it's included cooloer right? right?

>it's not fair that the 65 watt 3600 isn't compared to a 250 watt overclocked 9900k

BASED

>claim
>but that's false, every other review agrees the 9900k is still the gaming king cpu
>muh watts and muh price!
Stop moving the goalposts retard. The 3600 is a good cpu price/performance wise, but it can't be compared to the 9900k in raw performance in gaming

You got Jebaited.

until u turn youtube next to your game and drop 90 frames ZULU

you want second chernobyl user ?

You mean that 2 fps thing Lisa Su claimed? That's false

Don't move the goalpost

>Don't move the goalpost
my goal is to have good price/performance hardware that i can use without melting ice caps

>twitch shit
fuck off, /v/iggers

What the fuck is this picture

Kek, no way this benchmark is correct. Two possibilities:
1) wrong scheduler
2) used very slow preset

There is not a single fucking chance that 12 core processor with much much better SMT than intel could have more than 10% drop during streaming.

IT'S FALSE GOYIM BUY INTEL

>Lower single threaded performance
>Lower gaming performance
>Can't overclock for shit
It does beat intel in a lot of productivity applications (not all though) why do you amd cult shitters need to make stuff up? I can't think of many things more pathetic than neets worshiping a corporation they have no stake in

Then don't quote me because the discussion is about the claim that the 3600 is on par with the 9900k, which is totally misleading
>There is not a single fucking chance that 12 core processor with much much better SMT than Intel could have more than 10% drop during streaming
What the fuck are you talking about?
There's no performance drop because of the streaming, the 3900x and 3700x just don't have the same in game fps as the 9900k or 9700k in the majority of games.
Battlefield is one of the few games where the 3900x doesn't do that bad. And my point is about the supposedly performance drop when streaming from the 9900k, which doesn't really happen.

Why are you so buttblasted?

>What the fuck are you talking about?
Fuck I thought black bars were the new FPS during streaming. He should probably bench dropped frames and in-game stuttering.

>Responds with literally no arguments but a shitty video with BUT MUH STREAMING PERFORMANCE
>It's you who is buttblasted btw
Good job buddy take your reta- participation medal

wow 3600 value machine

Why so mad?

Do you have the original image by any chance?

Hey guys, I just got a 3700x to replace my 7700. Win 10 is smart enough to just fix itself and install proper shit if I just change the components right? I know back in the day this wouldn't work, and even these days it wouldn't be optimal, but I'm not worried about that, I just don't want to re setup all my shit how I like it again.

It should work with windows 10

That's just lies. In GTA V Intel absolutely stomps AMD.

Press F for intel

F
and
S

But how well does it run the Wii U and PS3 emulators?

If my 2700x is of any indication, then pretty fucking good.

AMD measures TDP at base. Intel measures it at boost

Nobody buys CPUs for anything other than gaming, negro.

That doesn't sound right.

It is the reverse.

Literally this, for any other uses gpu's or dedicated cards will obliterate any cpu anyways

user, Grand Theft Auto V is six years old...

>GTAV

lol, nigga that shit came out years ago.

based. Thanks man

OH NO NO NO NO NO NO
reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/cacwf9/psa_ryzen_3000_gaming_performance_is_being_gimped/

AMD shills going into overdrive.

Holy ahit amd is actually even better

So I won't miss out on any of the 3000series CPU features on my b450? If i remember rightly 2000 series worked on first gen series boards but something was missing like xfr2 or some shit.

thank you random youtuber I don't know for testing my motherboard with 3600x, I can safely buy it now and don't worry about anything

?

3200 when

but 3600x is already on par with 9900K for twice less monies
Jow Forumsuys, you really need to start thinking in ms terms, fps is about responsiveness of the game, 0.2ms difference in fps doesn't make game feel better
my point is - DO NOT buy CPU over $300 for gaming, ever.

Shut up goy

you're using that meme wrong, nufag

Incel Cope i3

I went and purchased the 3600 yesterday. It definitely is NOT on par with the 9900k but for the price it's probably the single best CPU on the market. I will say there is very little headroom to OC it, doesn't seem like you can get much more than what comes out of the box. On the other hand it's temps and powerdraw are really fucking good. Intel still retains it's status as the premium product, but I think the 3000 series will keep their prices more honest going forward.

Nobody buys Intel.
