20+ cups of coffee, maybe 1-3 cans of Monster Zero Ultra, or whatever cheap energy drinks I can get, depending on how long I'm at it, and I usually go through ¾ of a 10mm bottle of 18mg vapeshit, or somewhere around 20-30 cigarettes, if I was still smoking. If I eat, it's usually a bit of Vegemite on toast.

On a lax day it's usually just around 10 cups of coffee, no energy drinks, or I'll take some of an energy drink and dilute it with seltzer, a lot less vape/normal amount of ciggies, usually around 12-16, but still Vegemite on toast to eat.

I use caffeine, the maximum amount I can handle without becoming an insomniac (About 120mg, luckily enough).

That said, motivation is probably more important again. So I can see some use for depressants, especially on the weekend.

Coding is highly intelligence dependant. If you do it while drunk you will make negative progress. If you do it caffeinated (at the peak of your attention) your productivity goes way up.
So far I've never worked on the same stack long enough for my productivity to be the customers problem.

I used to drink coke with sugar before, but while it had an immediate positive effect on my concentration, in the long run it would mess up my sense of hunger and thus ruin my concentration. I also started excercising twice a week 6 months ago, but that has actually had a negative effect on my concentration (I'm exhausted and tired all the time). I will continue doing it though, because I seriously need to lose some weight.

I don't really program for long, most of the time I am thinking about what I want to do and how, and writing my stuff and snippets on paper first, it makes me calm for some reason and gives me assurance in some way, once I am through that writing/adding that stuff in my project takes hardly anytime(I am no webdev) but in android development even small sitting were super big and would wet my butt with sweat so in those times and generally while working I just drink water and bananas.

Sounds like you need a better diet. Start by figuring out how many calories you need each day, this is the easiest and has the most effect for the effort it takes. Get into some sort of intermittent fasting, this will make your body more efficient and give you more energy every day. Figure out your electrolyte intake either by logging the foods you eat and their nutrition (cheaper more time consuming method) or by getting bloodwork done (expensive faster method). Having a good electrolyte balance will have a massive effect on your bodies function.

Those are the big things. They aren't as easy to figure out as they sound. Once you have figured those things out a bit, you can start looking at other things like vitamin intake, exercise, and macronutrient balance. This things can vary wildly for each person so I can't say much about what might work for you, but personally I feel best when most my energy comes from fats and I keep my carb intake very low. I supplement with Iodine because it's nearly nonexistent in my diet, as well as some other things that help my naturally depressed disposition. Oh yeah, lastly, figure out your best waking hours (everyone is different, personally I do best getting up at about 4am, but some people even prefer 4pm) how much sleep you need, how to get restful sleep, etc.

What you will find after fixing up those things is that using drugs actually gets you going without bad side effects. If alcohol, weed, and coffee are having poor effects on you right now it's probably that your body is too unhealthy and you are consuming large amounts because small amounts have no effect. If you get into good health, you'll notice effects of small amounts of any drug (i.e. a single beer or shot, instead of needing 3, or 50mg caffeine instead of 300). Alcohol shouldn't make you sleepy in small amounts unless you are unhealthy or need sleep, it should make you feel "lit up," in small amount anyway. Avoid drugs anyway tho.

i'm not him but I've had periods where I drink several pots of coffee a day. easily 40 cups. I don't even want to know how much caffeine that is. It gave me no crash or headaches, even when I would abruptly stop. Some people just have different body chemistry. Stick to caffeine. Tea, coffee, caffeine tablets, all work fine in moderation. Don't code high or drunk. It's fun, but you'll just have to delete and rewrite half of it when you're sober.

Water. No drugs, no coffein, no sugar. Nothing that like that. If you really, really need to hit a deadline and need the night then take a coffein pill or two that night. The next 1/2 days after that you won't be productive at all so only when necessary.

After long deliberation, I decided that abiding arbitrary principles that actively make your life worse with no tangible benefits is morally wrong for the same reasons that all self-harm is morally wrong.

So I take my adderall as prescribed like a good boy and my life has gotten a lot better for it and now I work for computers instead of a grocery store like a flunkie. It took me a while to be okay with that, but now that I can remember to focus long enough to teach myself discipline, I am capable of actually achieving things that give me emotional fulfillment. This is almost entirely genetics. 50mg of caffine - no worries. 3 Beers, no effect.
I think you're being mislead due to your experience with caffeine. Its biggest benefit is in decreasing the time between just-awoken-drowsiness and alertness. It probably does the same after a big lunch, though the food means you'll require more. It will not help you run on zero sleep or calories without significant abuse. You probably only use it for the correct reasons when well rested and fed.
Alcohol however works best on no calories or sleep. The healthier you are the faster your body will discard it.
And for both tolerance matters.

Being a light weight must suck. Alcohol is delicious.
