As somebody who only uses Windows for vidya, I'd go ahead and dual boot Linux. Most of the games I play on Linux are either emulated or in source ports, and I'm too lazy to set up Wine for certain games so that's when I just switch back to Windows.

Run Windows in qemu and pass your gfx card to it. That way any time Windows tries to reboot your emulated uefi qemu bios can tell it that it actually did even though it didn't lol.
